Shadow Sun

She sat there talking to the moon. Asking it all of the things that are on her mind. Her dreams come and haunt her, and ask her, heart or mind?

It's a conundrum. Only stuck in time. She's 21 now. Not even enough time has gone by. Her heart and mind twirl together like a witch's knot.

A shadow in the sun tonight, she won't turn her back to it, and let the shadows fall behind her.

She'll face it and ask for guidance. For forgiveness. For truth. For love.

The shadows will fall on her face tonight, and the moon will stare back at her too. The sun the next morning will look at her again, and ask, if she is pleased now. With the answers she has received.

She will then again, let the shadows fall behind her. Hopefully.

All it takes is one thing.
