"Love is not blind, it is bound and the more bound it is the less blind it becomes."
When you find true, genuine love, you hold no illusions as to who they really are. You don't idealize them, or expect them to be perfect. You love them because they are imperfectly, perfect. You love them precisely for all of their perceived weaknesses, that which they cannot love within themselves, you love for them on their behalf. That is true love.
Love is not blind, it is bound. It is a commitment, you are willing to put in the work, and the more bound it is, the less blind it becomes. The less illusions you have about them, because you love them truly for who they are.
Unconditional love.
