Chapter 39

Jimin's eyes fluttered open and his eyes landed on his smiling boyfriend. Yoongi had been awake for a while just watching Jimin sleep. It's his last chance for a while.

"Good Morning baby," Yoongi whispered as he leaned in for a kiss.

Despite fear of morning breath, Jimin threw an arm over Yoongi to hold him in the kiss a little longer.

"Morning Yoonie," Jimin replied when they pulled back.

"Let's take a shower," Yoongi suggested.

They both felt blue but wanted to make the most of the morning before going to the company. Closeness was what they craved.

Jimin nodded and they climbed out of bed and made their way to the bathroom. Yoongi turned the water on hot like Jimin likes it and sprayed lavendar into the steam.

They undressed and climbed in together. Yoongi immediately reached for the shampoo and began lathering it before rubbing it into Jimins hair.

Jimin moaned at the sweet touch. Yoongi's fingers feel so good massaging his scalp.

Yoongi grabbed the sprayer and began rinsing Jimin's hair. Once he was done, Jimin grabbed the shampoo to take care of his lover.

"I love you Yoonie," he said while massaging his scalp.

"I love you too baby. So much."

Jimin was glad the shower was running. It helped conceal the tears slipping out every now and then. He refused to let Yoongi see him cry today. He would only be happy for him.

He grabbed the sprayer and rinsed Yoongi's hair. Once he put it back in its holder, Yoongi turned to face him.

"I love you so much Jiminie. Promise me you'll remember that while I'm gone." Yoongi caressed his cheek before tucking hair behind his ear.

Jimin looked in Yoongi's soft brown eyes and realized that Yoongi is as scared to leave as Jimin is for him to leave.

"I promise," he assured Yoongi before pulling him into a needy kiss. He wrapped his arms around Yoongi's neck to hold him close. Yoongi quickly wrapped his arms around Jimin's waist and kissed back. They stayed like that until the water ran cold. No sex. Just taking comfort in each others arms, kisses, and smiles.

"Are you sure you have everything? Chargers, laptop, blanket for the plane?" Jimin looked at his lover expectantly.

Yoongi paused while thinking through the stuff he packed. Suddenly, his eyes buldged. "Passport!"

Jimin giggled. "Where is it?"

"Closet. 2nd drawer."

"I'll grab it and meet you in the car." Jimin kissed Yoongi's cheek before turning to run back to the bedroom.

The car ride to the company was too short. The couple held hands the whole way.

Jimin was rambling. "Don't forget to text me. And call me. And you have to tell me where you are so we can time our video chats."

"I promise baby. I'll have Jin text you the schedule. The only reason you don't have it now is because he was still finalizing schedules in each city."

"Thank you! And next week I'm gonna book my travel for my school break. Do you know where you'll be?"

"Honestly, no, but we can look at the schedule as soon as Jin sends it. Let me book it for you, ok? I know you have a lot of expenses with school."

"Are you sure? That's probably a lot of money. I don't want you to feel like you need to do that."

"I'm sure love. I don't feel like I need to. But I want to. I don't want you to have to work extra or worry about money when you need to focus on finishing school."

Jimin beamed at Yoongi. "Thank you Yoonie. I appreciate it." 

Once the couple arrived at the company, they switched to friends mode. Jimin followed Yoongi to a large conference room where company execs, tour managers, and Jin were waiting. Jimin immediately felt out of place and tried to make himself small but Yoongi stayed close to him to give him comfort. They talked with Jin and Namjoon as well as the president of the company. He personally came to see Yoongi off.

After a few minutes, Jimin asked Yoongi to go to his studio. They quietly snuck out of the tour gathering and headed for privacy. Yoongi typed in his code and they went inside.

Jimin walked right to the couch and picked up a package. He turned and smiled sweetly at Yoongi.

"I have something for you," Jimin told as he handed the package over.

Yoongi raised his eyebrows and grinned. "For me?"

"Yes love. For you. Open it!" Jimin giggled and pulled Yoongi onto the couch with him.

Yoongi's grin got even bigger at the cuteness of his boyfriend. He ripped open the paper to find a CD and a stack of papers clipped together. The CD is black and has a silver heart and signed Jimin. Yoongi smiles and looks up curiously.

"Listen to it on the plane. I think you'll love it. At least I hope so."

Yoongi nodded his head. "You made it so of course I'll love it. And the papers?"

Yoongi looked back at the thick stack. The top page was blank except for another heart and Jimin's name.

"That is the first chapters of my novel," Jimin smiled nervously. "But, I gave you 6 instead of 3."

"Baby you remembered," Yoongi cooed with his perfect gummy smile.

"Of course I did. I did some revision and then saved it to give to you today. You can read it while you travel or whatever."

"I'm so excited to read it. I know it's going to be amazing."

Yoongi leaned in to kiss Jimin. "Thank you so much for these. I get to take a little of you with me."

"That was the idea," Jimin replied with a giggle.

Yoongi stood up and pulled Jimin up with him before pulling him into a tight hug. He cupped his cheeks and kissed him slowly and gently.

"I love you baby," he whispered. "I love you too. I'm so proud of you. I can't wait to stalk your YouTube for new videos." Jimin replied back with a slight blush.
