Yoongi unlocked his apartment, arms full of junk food bags that they had stopped to pick up on the way home. Jimin was carrying a bottle of Soju to celebrate with. Once inside, he toed his shoes off by the entrance before leading the way to his kitchen.
Jimin looked around as he followed, impressed by what he saw. He immediately understood why Yoongi loves Shots of Seoul so much. His apartment was very similar. Dark wood, leather furniture, and very neat for a single guy. "I love your house hyung."
"Thank you, so do I. It took me a little while to get it the way I want but I'm happy with it now. I feel at home here." Yoongi set the bags down on his counter and pulled out the ice cream before turning to put it in the freezer. He pulled out the rest of the snacks and lined them up on the counter.
"I'm gonna put this in the freezer for a few minutes," Jimin said as he opened the freezer door and placed the soju inside.
Yoongi noticed the time on his stove. "Only 10 minutes to the release. I'm so nervous." He reached into his upper cabinet and pulled out a bottle of whiskey and a shot glass. He filled the glass to the brim before tossing it back and looking over at Jimin. "Just to take the edge off. Want one?"
"Yes please hyung. But i'm not nervous. I'm so excited! I can't wait to see it. I'm so happy to be here watching with you too. Thank you for inviting me."
Yoongi was pouring his shot and smiled down at it. "Thank you for coming Jiminie. It means a lot to have you here." Jimin walked over and picked up the shot glass and tossed it back, just as Yoongi had a few moments before.
"So where are we watching?"
Yoongi grabbed a bag of chips and motioned for Jimin to follow him. They walked back into the living room and Yoongi switched on a lamp. He had a large tv mounted that Jimin hadn't noticed when they walked past earlier.
He sat on the couch and grabbed his remote, turning on YouTube. "I saw some of the shots while we were filming but none of the edits or anything."
Jimin sat next to him and laced their fingers. "Hyung, don't be nervous. Everything has been perfect so far. The songs, your performance, everything. Relax and enjoy it. This is what you've worked so hard for."
Yoongi was so thankful for Jimin at that moment. He was right. His own nerves weren't allowing him to enjoy this day. And it has been such a fucking amazing day.
"You're right. I promise."
Jimin squeezed his hand before turning back to the tv, prompting Yoongi to do the same. He searched his stage name and was surprised that there were already several videos up. There was the one from his debut stage earlier that his company posted. But there were others that appeared to be from audience members.
"O my gosh Yoongi, look!" Jimin had noticed the same thing and was bouncing up and down pointing. "We have to watch these too!"
Yoongi beamed at Jimin and thought again about how fucking lucky he is to be sitting next to this amazing person and enjoying the most important night of his life. It was almost overwhelming.
Yoongi lit up his phone which showed 12:01am. He refreshed the screen and sure enough, there he was, handcuffed and seated for the camera.
Jimin squealed in excitement. "Press play!"
Yoongi did and sat back into the couch to watch himself. Jimin on the other hand, shifted so that he was sitting on his knees and leaning forward, ready to be enraptured by whatever he was going to see.
The video started with Yoongi handcuffed to a chair and fighting to get out. Jimin's breath hitched and he watched with wide eyes as the video played on, never saying a word. When it was over, he looked at Yoongi with dark eyes and flushed cheeks. "Hyung, play it again."
