January 28th, 2020 Rachel's p/v Today is going to be a rather sad but exciting day. Declan is going to New York for a film festival! Everyone in film club is going: Declan, Jenna, Mary, Wyatt, and Tyler. Tyler joined film club a few days ago. I'm happy for Tyler and Declan but I'm going to miss them a bunch. I don't care that they're going to be with Mary. What I do care about is the fact that Darry is leaving too.
There's going to be a photography contest for photography club. Darry, Mary, Jenna, Aiden, Lauren, Nina, Wyatt, Nigel, and 3 other girls are going. That means Mary and Darry are going to be together in New York. Me? I get to stay at Sage's house for the next two days. I'm perfectly fine with staying home alone but Darry doesn't trust me. And it's not even me saying he doesn't trust me, he told me himself last night that he doesn't.
But that's not why I'm sad. Everyone has a talent but me. Even Kyle is going on the New York trip and he doesn't even go to our school! Darry asked him if he could help out and Kyle said yes. Ugh.
You can join film club and photography club with no problem but you need skills. I don't have those skills. Plus, I would never join a club with Mary in it. Tyler begged me to join debate with him but I overheard Mary talking to Darry about her joining debate again. She also joined fashion club. Mary is living the life I want.
She posted a photo on her story. I know this because I may have went on Darry's phone. He left it open on the table! I had to take a small peek.

I overheard Mary tell Darry over the phone that her father got an RV. Of course his only post is a picture of Mary. Mary's profile isn't even that interesting. She has 10 followers and is following 10 people. One of those people is Rosetta. Since when were they all buddies buddies? Artsy people always stick together huh? Screw everyone.
