I sneak up behind Jasmine. "GOOD morning!"
She jumps. "Oh my gosh I think I peed myself."
"You just peed yourself?" Declan asks as he walks up to us.
"Say it louder won't you?"
"Say what louder." Tyler says as he wraps his arm around me.
"That cafeteria orange juice is on me!"
"Thanks, Rach! Not like you get it for free anyway."
"No orange juice for you then, Declan."
"Can we actually go to the cafeteria? I didn't have breakfast." Jasmine says.
"Me too, I'm starving." I say. We start walking but Tyler pulls me aside.
"Yes, my angel?"
"I have something for you." He pulls out a brown sweater from his messenger bag.
"For me? Is this your sweater?"
"Yup. I really want you to have it. Fits me more like a shirt but it'll be the perfect sweater for you."
"I love it. You must have something from me now."
"Oooh, can't wait to rock Rachel merch."
"Take my turtle necklace. This little guy has been with me since 5th grade." I start taking it off.
"Are you sure you want me to have it?"
"Yes! It'll look fab on you."
"I can't wait to look fab. You wear my sweater and I wear your necklace."
I hand him my necklace. He puts it on himself as I put on the sweater. We grab hands and catch up with our friends.

"Thank you for sparing your time to take me to school. I love my uncle, but his obsession with Sonic Youth is getting crazy. He's gone as far to making aunt Candace dress like Kim Gordon."
"I always have time for you, Mary. Even if it doesn't seem like it, I'm always looking for ways to get out of work to spend time with you. What if you go to set with me again? I'm working on a 60s french inspired short film with your cousin Wilson."
"Does that mean I get to ditch school? I'll do anything to miss math. The teacher has it out for me ever since I agreed with my classmates to demand a curve."
"Can't blame you, curves are America's greatest necessity. I'll call the school to excuse your absence. You have a very important trip to the hospital."
"My knees are bleeding out purple cells."
"You've clearly been reading Wilson's terrible Doctor Who inspired script."
"It was on the counter and I needed something to entertain me!"
"Well get ready to entertain yourself with the 60s wardrobe Melissa is bringing to set."
"My other father let's me try on his collection. Can I-"
"Try on some of the pieces? You can also dress the actors up. Melissa will be happy to have a little assistant."
"You're the best! I seriously cannot wait." I walk back to my room. Need to look the part for the set! This Harley Davidson sweater and purple/black midi skirt just won't sell the vibe.

"You did it, Hector, you managed to not make Lottie break up with you."
"I think this trip has made me and Lottie more mature. She no longer gets angry over the littlest things and I no longer feel the need to assert my dominance whenever a guy even looks at her!"
"Very specific. I bet you guys break up this afternoon."
"Nigel, what kind of support is that?"
"Who said I want to support you guys?"
"Darry, can you punch him for me?"
"Maybe I'll just leave him my phone and you guys can work it out yourselves. I want to look for Mary."
"Girlfriends over best friends. I respect."
"I have to leave anyway, Lottie wants to take pictures."
"Hate being the single one in the group."
"What happened to Gen? You guys were all over each other in New York."
"Neither of us have had the courage to talk to each other. She's hard to get and I am too."
"Well stop playing so we can go on a triple date."
"Lottie would love Mary. My smarty is secretly admired by everyone."
"Not the smarty, his smarty. I doubt Lottie and Mary would get along though. Lottie loves Rachel!"
"And Gen is friends with Lauren. Guess your smarty isn't admired by everyone."
"I said secretly. Plus, Lottie and Rachel rarely talk! Only when you brought her to the old house."
"Lottie told me her and Rachel texted last night. Face it, she prefers my little sister."
"Oh, so now she's your little sister? Who provides for her again?"
"Clearly not you because you want Lottie to prefer Mary over Rachel so bad. I have to go, call when you're less tense." Hector hangs up.
"Way to go, Darry. Now he won't keep us updated if they break up!"
"I can't believe I was trying to make Mary one up Rachel. Who am I?"

"Love is a strong word. I have feelings for her, but that's about it. I can see myself loving her though. Mary is so beautiful and talented. She doesn't realize how incredible her photos are and how amazing she is at just everything. She loves her singing, but doesn't appreciate her poetry. I mean, who else writes poetry during their french class? Mary is so interesting to learn about. She's my favorite subject. Man, you'd love-" I look at Nigel but he's not here anymore. Whatever, no one else needs to fall for her. It's too easy.
