As expected, Wild wing drove me home with the duckcycle. For me was that the best thing ever, holding him around his waist. I don't remember that I been this close to the goalie, except during training on ice. But this time, he isn't wearing his armor or hockey gear, just his normal suit. Tanya would take care of the mask in the meantime.

The journey home was relaxing, unlike the welcome I received.

The moment we arrived, my parents stormed out of the house. I got concerned at their angry faces, "You did tell him where I was, right?" Wild wing nodded, "I did, but I don't think they are mad about that." They weren't alright, waiting for the duck to get me off the motorcycle. The minute he lets go of me, a hand grabbed my ear, pulling it so much force, that it hurt big time.

"So young lady, what you been up to this time?!"

The goalie raised a brow at that, "This time?"

My father stood next to him, trying to look a little friendlier, "It is not the first time that she caused so much trouble." Wild wing could have guessed, seeing my mother pulling me by the ear into the house. "We been worried sick and then we have to get a call from the mighty ducks that you caused damage over millions of dollars!" Although I assured her, that it all turned well, she didn't let go of me. It is not like she is angry with the situation, it is more her way of showing how concerned she is, "Do you have any idea how we felt, hearing this?! How many times do you have to repeat your mistakes, till you learn from them?"

For Wild wing was this conversation hard to follow, that my dad had explained the previous problems I caused. I have to face it, I wasn't the most innocent child in the world, but it is not like I tried to make such mistakes on purpose...it is some kind of a curse. If it wasn't for my parents, having the nerves and patience to help me out, I wouldn't be the person I am now. Thankfully, the ducks had the same attitude towards me. Wild wing explained to my parents, that everything is fine, "She learned her lesson, improved her skills and worked hard to pay off her debts."

"Did you go easy on her?" asked my mother, letting go of my ear.

"Being rough with her only makes things worse, so we tried a different approach. Don't worry; she had been a good girl" At least one good thing that convinced my mother to calm down. Suddenly, he turned towards the door, "Okay, I pick you up on Monday."

"What?" that really hurt to hear him say that.

My father sees it the same way, "Hold it pal, you don't expect to drive your girl here and just leave."

Wild wing got nervous, "...my girl?"

"You don't expect me to believe, that you don't like her."

"I do" defended Wild wing, "...she is a good friend."

Ouch! Wrong words.

My mother insisted, that he would stay till Monday, getting to know each other better, "Since she is been with you guys for so long, it is only fair that you do the same." Two against one, the goalie had no chance to defend their arguments. At the end, he gave in. I showed him my room, preparing the sofa for the night "it is not the biggest room, but for two it is fine."

"Two?"

"Well yes, you sleep on the sofa and I got my bed over there."

I didn't see the problem, since we also sleep in his bunk together, just the same way as now. Wild wing's cheeks gone red, "But what will your parents think?"

"I guess they see you as my boyfriend, so they don't mind."

His blush increased, "b-b-boyfriend?"

Seeing him like this, I took it a step further, getting all flirty with him, "Are you saying that I am not attractive?"

"No...I...I..."

"Do you think I am hot?"

The poor duck was completely overwhelmed with this situation, that he couldn't stop me from pushing him backwards onto the sofa bed. Lying there, I climbed on top, biting my lips seductively, "Are you in the mood?"

Wild wing didn't know what to do, this whole situation was new to him, plus he didn't want to offend me. At that moment, as I leaned over to him, my father walked in.

"Hey you two, fancy some...." He stopped halfway in the room, "...pizza?"

I grinned wide, while Wing was embarrassed and scared at the same time, "No thank you dad, I rather have my dessert now" pointing at the duck below me. The goalie feared to get into trouble now, my father just gave me a thumb up, "Okay, have fun you two."

Just as the door closed, I got off him, "Your busted duck boy."

Wild wing was shocked, "You did this on purpose?"

I shrugged, "Of course...to you I am just 'a friend' or even worse....a child."

"N/A...I didn't know that you feel this way."

Looking away, I headed towards the window, "Of course you didn't, because you don't feel the same."

The goalie refused to answer. He did have feelings for me, but he fears that we cannot be together. Wing isn't sure of a relationship between a duck and a human would work out. Besides, he came to love me like a friend, they same way he was with Canard. He didn't want to lose another close friend again. If this relationship won't work, I might leave him and this is what he doesn't want to happen, "I do like you N/A, but not the same way."

My heard sank, I should have known.

"But I don't want to lose you either" he walked over to the window, hugging me from behind, "You mean a lot to me. Isn't that enough?"

I swallowed hard, "So...we are...just friends?"

"No, we are best friends."

I guess this as far as it goes with the goalie. Swallowing my disappointment, I nodded, "That is okay."

Kissing my head, he pulled me even closer, "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, but I don't want to lie to you either." I took his honesty to the heart, feeling a little relieved, that I got a true friend at my side. Finding the right partner may be hard, but to have a trued friend is just as difficult. Wild wing notice that it may take time to accept it, but he will help me, no matter how long it takes.

As for my parents, they already had things in store for Wild wing...thinking that he is my boyfriend. This weekend will surely be unforgettable... especially for him.
