My parents didn't let loose on the poor duck. Since the scene in my bedroom, my father had a close eye on the goalie, asking sharp questions. Wild wing had no chance against them, constantly looking in my direction for help. But I had to suppress my feelings for him, so I was kind of busy too, smiling evil at him, "The 'friend' you are trying to reach is not available, please try it another time...honey." I know the last part was mean, but I couldn't resist. It got even better as they handed him condoms and threatened him to be careful. His face was just too adorable to handle, blushing in different shades of red. My mother wasn't any different, asking about children, on what they would be, humans or ducks? Or asking when we will get married. I can tell he wanted to get out this situation as soon as possible. Playing fair, I gave him a break, taking him upstairs to my room.

Wild wing was out of his mind, "Why didn't you tell them?"

"I just enjoyed seeing you suffer."

"Like you do?" he added, making me break eye contact. He got me there. The goalie sat on my bed, sighting deeply, "I can't change how you feel, but I can return them either. How can we make this work without us both feeling bad about this?"

"I can't just forget them."

"Neither can I give in; otherwise I would lie to you."

My lips were trembling, "Right now, I wish you would lie ...just this once."

Wild wing couldn't, not matter how hard it was for me. At least he gave long comfy hugs, waiting for my tears to dry. Typical, my dad had entered at the moment, not knocking first.

"Dad, you don't have to check on us every five minutes."

"Just a precaution" he defended, pointing with two fingers at his eyes and then at Wild wing's eyes. He sure was overprotective, but he only didn't want me to get hurt, too bad that this already happened. The rest of the weekend, I had to explain our situation a lot further, including my situation with Wild wing. As expected, I got a lecture and the goalie a trip from my bedroom couch, to the sofa in the living room. At least we could enjoy the Sunday together, without being watched the whole time. Wild wing even had a lot of fun then, but the next day, we had to get back to Anaheim.

I couldn't leave before a shower of kisses went all over my face from my mother.

"Mom, stop, this is embarrassing!" She knew I hate such close contacts, but she did it anyway. Before my dad could give his fair share, I jumped on the duckcycle, screaming at the goalie to get a move on. Just like the ride home, this was just as relaxing, leaning into his back. Wild wing felt it, but didn't do anything to stop me. The result was obvious, since I liked it so much, I fell asleep. Back at the pond, he carried me to his bunk. Nosedive was there, going through his comics, "hey there bro, how was the weekend?"

"Interesting" he said, placing me on to his bed underneath Dive's, "It seems that she has feelings for me."

His younger brother had to hold himself; otherwise he would have fallen off his bed, "Really? So does this mean that you two are..."

"Friends...just good friends Dive."

Nosedive clicked his tongue at that, "So that is what it is called these days?"

"Seriously, we are just friends...nothing more."

"And how does she feel about that?"

He could see how his bothers face turned sad, "Terrible, I guess it took her a lot of courage to tell me how she feels."

Dive jumped off his bed and went over to my sleeping form, "If you aren't interested, I would give it a try."

Wild wing didn't like the sound of that, "Don't hurt her Dive, she doesn't deserve that." Nosedive thinks that it is not bad to take the risk of developing a relationship between humans and ducks. The goalie could only shake his head, "You are too young to understand. Come on, let her sleep."

"You should really give N/A the chance to be with you bro."

"I have my reasons Dive, end of discussion."

Dive stopped moving, seeing his brother going to the living room. There, Dive found his new victim to talk to, discussing the last game they had, unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant conversation. The rest of the ducks knew this kind of fight isn't too bad to get involved with, doing their own thing in the meantime. Just like the last time Duke and Nosedive argued, the alarm went off. Wild wing checked the computer, seeing the Saurian's making another move.

"Someone broke into a factory and the signal of the raptor is nearby. It is got to be them."

As they always do, they will end their mission on whatever they are up to. One main thing had to be done though; they had to ask Phil to watch over me. Duke finds this demand a little too much, as Wild wing shook his head, "The Saurian's know about here, I don't know how, but they do. I don't want her to get kidnapped again."

"Kidnapped? When?"

Mallory offered to explain it on their ride to the factory, since he wasn't there when it happened. Nosedive couldn't resist to joke around, "Maybe they have fallen for her too bro"

"Dive, I am warning you, keep your beak out of my business."
