Or so thought, as I spotted the vehicle in the corner. It was there alright, but it didn't have much fuel. As the optimist that I am, I assumed I can make it. And as expected...it stopped...half way, again, fooling the ducks by accident. They thought I was stopping and headed towards it, while I have set my journey on foot. I make it till the game ends, so I see no problem. But Phil certainly did. The crowd went wild, doing what he tried to prevent: causing thousands and thousands of dollar damages. The windows are the first that had to go, followed by tables. The hockey sticks on the wall were used to break doors open. The manager was close to a heart attack, „His is a disaster and the insurance will never pay for all of the damage. Where are those damn ducks when you need them? "

They were on their way, picking up the motorcycle and straight back to the stadium.

Most of them assumed that the thief had run off. So there was no use to hunt him down. Duke was more than eager to continue the search, while Nosedive patted his back, „Relax, just let the captain deal with this. " Wild wing agreed this wasn't their job anymore; the police will take over from here on. He as a point, what I did was stealing and stepping on their private property, but this doesn't bother me. I made that decision on my own, willing to do something illegal. And it seems that I wanted to take this a step further. In the nearest tables' lies something, every mighty duck fan knows immediately, Wild Wing's mask. Not thinking of the consequence, since I am deep in the...you know what I mean...I took it with me, "I bet Buzz will love my present. " I feel bad that he had to wait for me for nothing, the least thing I could do, was to make it up to him. Leaving through the garage doors, I headed over to my car. My adrenalin was high enough to keep me awake for a while, and if it goes down, coffee will support my journey home.

„Now, where did I left the keys? "

The pockets were empty.

„Oh no"

I checked my jacket, inside, outside...nothing.

This is bad. How am I supposed to get back home?!

The migrator was driving passed me, stopping at the garage. The huge vehicle was too obvious not to notice. Looking at it, I froze. Why are there here? Shouldn't they be inside the stadium?! It got worse as their manager came running. In panic, I hid behind my car. This is very bad.
The ducks were all looking very exhausted and annoyed. Phil didn't make it any better, complaining at the damages and the insurance. If it wasn't for Duke, Grin, they would have folded him into a garbage cube. All they wanted is to call the police and get some rest. At least that was the plan that Wild wing has set. Tanya had to stop this, announcing that the mask is missing. Their captain was wide awake and furious, "What?!"

"It was here, since it was broken and needed to be repaired."

"This can't be happening, without Drake du Canes Mask, we can never beat Dragaunus. We have to find it...now!"

"But bro, we are tired. Can't be look for it tomo..."

"...no baby brother. The mask has the highest priority."

From my hiding spot I couldn't hear them well. All I saw was the ducks looking around for something. Seeing the female duck at the table, I guess it was the mask they are looking for. It was a dilemma, should I give it back or not? If I do, I get into trouble or worse...in jail or I keep the mask and give it to Buzz. The second option sounds a lot safer mind. But leaving the place this easily was not possible. Meanwhile, several police cars have surrounded the stadium. The manager called them as quick as possible, to solve the locking in issue. A few people, who watched the game, were caught by officers and questioned. One saw me hiding, pulling me along to the others. This was very bad indeed. I stored the mask behind my back, under the shirt. No one seems to notice this. Thankfully I didn't have to, as the one I was looking for came towards me.

"Hey, where have you been? Did you see what happened?"

I shook my head, "I was pulled out, accused to have a fake ticket."

"No way, why would you do that?"

"I didn't, it was real. The security was just too blind to see it."

Buzz assumed that I was outside the whole time. In private, I explained what happened, including the loss of my car keys. Perhaps he can lend me money for a bus or train. His eyes got wide, while I told him, "You really did that? Cool! How is it at the headquarters?"

"Awesome, I wish you could have seen that. Wait...I got something for you."

Showing the mask to him, he couldn't contain his excitement, "No way! Wild wing's mask!!!"

I grinned wide, "And it is all yours"

"Really?!" it sounded too good to be true to him. Nodding again, I handed it over. Buzz was fully overwhelmed by this gift. Not pleased to ruin the moment, I really wanted to get away quick. I was lucky to have met this boy. He gave me enough money for the trip; in exchange I gave my number. After all, I had to pay it back. Before the ducks could even get near me, I said my good bye to Buzz and headed off to the nearest bus station. The police have finished their questioning a while ago, so it was easy to get away. Frustrated and worried, I looked at the timetable for the next bus. This will be a long journey home, even longer than the car.
