39. Transformation

Buzz and Klegghorn got to the place, where Stanley was held, before Wraith could. With the tablet and the device next to the power source, it was an easy task to open the emergency door. What came towards Buzz was not what he expected. Stanley greeted the two with his fists instead of words, almost destroying the tablet.

Klegghorn was confused, „Why is he attacking us?!"

"I don't know" Buzz however, was prepared to find out. The drone had to be close to the walls of the room to scan the tall man, "There is something on his shoulder, sending a signal to the power source."

"You mean, someone controls this big block of muscles?"

The boy nodded, "Yes, but so can we. Distract him for me." The captain had no idea on how to do that and just improvised, not aware that someone else will the job a lot better than him. Siege appeared from behind the two, not aware of becoming the next target from Stanley. Being protected by bullets, the saurian had no chance against a match by fists. The battle lasted long enough for Buzz to take over the control of Stanley. The man began to act like he always does, not remembering how he came to beat up this Saurian, "What happened?" Klegghorn explained it in short what was going on, while the boy advised him to take off the thing on his shoulder. Being the master of his own body now, the three went back upstairs. Before they gone, Siege was tied up and locked into one of the others rooms Stanley had opened.

Buzz checked his table once more of the enemy, still seeing one with me, "...why did they stop?"

He couldn't see what happened, two dots in different colors was all he could see. Chameleon changed back to his lizard form, begging me to spare his life. Of course I couldn't kill him, but there are other options I can do. Taking off his device to disappear, I locked him up in a room just like Siege was. One shot at the small display near the door and he won't be able to come out in his own. I couldn't believe how stupid I was, almost falling for this trap. I was glad that we don't always discuss some things in public. "What now?" with not knowing where the others are and Stanley under control, I only could walk around the place, hoping to find the control room by myself.

The boy smiled wide, "She made it!"

Klegghorn took a peek at the tablet, "We should have taken some walkie-talkies with us." The one thing Buzz didn't think off, "Anyway, she is on her way to the control room." Although no one was prepared to be confronted by another Saurian with a much larger gun in his hands, the three froze on the spot. The boy swallowed hard, "This is seriously bad." Wraith aimed at the big guy. Stanley panicked, "Why me?!" With the captain to order them to run, they turned on their heels and went back down the stairs. Wraith went after them, not caring of how much he damaged on his way.

For Dragaunus a reason to kill his own henchman, "This idiot is damaging my ship!"

He couldn't focus on his own job, on where he would send the ducks. One planet sounds better than the next one. Fearing that they could get away, Dragaunus checked out another location further away, "There has to be a planet where they cannot escape."

"Try burger blast" yelled out Nosedive.

Not thinking straight, the Saurian overlord had actually tipped it into the system, until he noticed, "Why the hell am I looking for such a planet?!"

Mallory kicked Dives knee, "Stop this that is no planet!"

Duke nodded, "That is the fast food store in Anaheim"

The young duck agreed, "I know...but he doesn't."

The Saurian Overlord was furious, "So you think you can make fool out of me?!"

Canard shook his head, "No need; you do just fine by yourself." While the large Saurian was having a tantrum, destroying his robots to let off some steam, the ducks watched the cameras. The goalie was pleased to see me alone, "I knew you could outsmart this lizard." Duke pointed at another screen, "Wild wing, over there!" On it they could see Buzz, Klegghorn and Stanley running away from Wraith.

The hunt went from one end of the raptor to another, even to areas that Buzz hasn't seen on his screen just yet. The drone hasn't scanned the entire ship as it supposed to. While not looking back, Stanley was almost shot in his leg. The shock made him fall forward. Wraith caught up to the three, "Here is the end for you" Buzz froze as the gun was one aimed at the tall guy. Stanley fears of leaving the world too soon, feeling tears falling from his cheek. They all stood there in shock, as the saurian pulled the trigger. On a matter of seconds, Klegghorn had jumped before Stanley. Thinking that the old man was dead, not seeing him move, makes Buzz fear for his life. Stanley couldn't hold back his tears, feeling guilty that someone protected him and died. Wraith on the other hand, couldn't be more pleased, "One down, two to go."

DONG!!!!!!!

Like a gong, it vibrated through the entire raptor. Wraith, now unconscious, fell to the ground. In disbelieve, Buzz and Stanley stared at me. I stood behind the Saurian with a metal plate in my hand, "Who knew that they can be used for more than just hiding cables."

"N/A,...Captian Klegghorn...he is...he..."

Buzz was close to tears, as I went over ot hold him, "Don't cry Buzz, we will revenge his death." Stanley agreed, hugging us both as well.

"I am going to kill them!!!!!!!!"

The sudden outburst made us jump. Klegghorn's corpse just screamed out, getting back up on his feet, "I will make them pay!!!!" We may have to look at him twice, feeling sure that this was the same man from before. Our confusing faces must have irritated the captain, "What the hell are you looking at?!"
