Break the ice (Mighty ducks x reader)

37. Help from a friend

Stanley Stravinsky, a former hockey player of the polar bears, is now a famous referee. Wild wing mentioned him before, that he is a man that takes fairness really seriously. I was glad to have him in my team.

Buzz was also prepared to help out, getting everything together that we might need, "I designed something that we can use to manipulate the raptor, controlling it from the outside."

"And why should that be useful?"

The boy smirked, "That way, they cannot do anything without us changing it back." His explanation was like watching a TV program where someone else had the same remote and annoys the other with it. We have to be careful though, since the ones we are going to prank are very dangerous. With Stanley driving and Buzz invention, we will find the raptor in no time.

"Hey N/A, do you think we get the same way inside?"

"Don't know Buzz, but we have to try. Please, just for once, behave and listen to me. I dotn want to lose another friend of mine."

"N/A...we will always be friends...right?"

I held his hand, "Always"

Suddenly, a massive hand was wrapped around ours, "...that goes for me too...right?"

For Buzz a dream comes true, having two friends now. Unfortunately, we were lost in our conversation that Stanley didn't pay any attention to the road. In the distance, a building was glowing green, giving us a reason to look forward. Fascinated to see the transformation from the outside, we didn't notice the person crossing the street.

"Holy....captain!!!!!!!!!" The brakes did their purpose, as much as the seatbelts. In front of the car stood a small man, looking really grumpy in our direction, "Have you lost your mind?! Get out!" I sighted deeply, not expecting to meet Klegghorn so soon. His expression seems to say the same thing, as he noticed me, "...you..."

"Hello...Kleggy..."

"What the hell are you thinking? Driving with such speed through the streets!"

Stanley was about to apologize, as I stepped before the big guy, "It was my fault. I told him to speed up." I didn't really, but that is not the issue. Telling the captain as quick as possible the situation, he began to grumble to himself. Just the words 'Saurians' and 'ducks' didn't mean anything good in his book, "Typical, when something is going on in Anaheim and it always had something to do with these damn ducks!"

"Please, just let this slide for once. We really are in big danger when the ducks aren't around anymore."

Klegghorn got even more grumpy, "And what am I doing then?! Picking daisies?!!!"

"I didn't mean it like that Sir."

"In that case, I will come along. These Saurians will get a piece of my mind. These damn ducks will get it later." From a team of three, we became four. The captain won't take no for an answer, taking his gun out, "Let's get those Saurians!"

I nodded, "Buzz, the glowing building...that was the raptor right?"

"Sure is N/A"

We all got back into the car, with Klegghorn sitting beside me. Buzz was on my other side, having some kind of flying device on his lap.

"Buzz, what is that for?"

"A security camera for us, it can look inside the raptor like an X-ray. With that, we always know where everyone is right now." That boy was sure something else. He made that drone right after we explored the raptor. He could sell it afterwards, when the prototype is working perfectly. Although this thing was breaking all sorts of laws, Klegghorn accepted that. Since it is used for a mission of non human species and their creation, he'll let it slide. Stanley had also a job do to, taking over the part where we all lack on: strength. The tall man was the one that give us the entrance to the raptor.

Buzz checked the main door, "No chance, we need another way in."

For this, I asked him to find an area, where Stanley can create one for us. Klegghorn was the first to enter, giving us a sign once everything is clear. Although, the first hit from Stanley's fist, has activated the warning system from the raptor. Dragaunus was close to throw a tantrum, seeing a bunch of humans invading his ship, "How dare they enter without my permission!"

The ducks could see us from the large display. Canard was amazed, "I wasn't aware that your girl has so much guts."

For the goalie was this not a compliment. He was worried, "She shouldn't be here...none of them should." Getting humans involved in their problems was one main thing Wild wing was trying to avoid. Chameleon took this as an opportunity to use his transformation skills, "I can't wait to play with that little girl." The goalie got concerned, as the lizard has turned to Wild wing, "Don't hurt her!"

Chameleon grinned wide, "I would never hurt my girlfriend."

Wraith and Siege were also pleased with the circumstances. The large Saurian had another change to take revenge on Klegghorn and Buzz. Wraith knew Stanley from the day he was used to destroy the ducks, turning into a monster, maybe another victim to control once more. Nosedive and Duke have joined the other ducks in the cage, feeling a little dizzy from Wraith's powers. They couldn't even remember how they got there.

Meanwhile, we were waiting for the captain to give us the signal.

Buzz activated the drone to fly up the raptor, "it will take a few minutes, till the camera is working." With his tablet in one hand, he gave me the other invention with the other, "Place it as close to the power source." Stanley stayed close to me, saying that he will help finding that room." Buzz shall join Klegghorn in the meantime.

With a whistle, the mission begins.

The minute we all stood together, Buzz was alarmed, staring at his tablet, "Oh oh, we get company!"
