The Haunting of Forest Lane

Chapter Twenty One

Today was the day Nick was coming over to review the tapes. Amani was also trying to plan a dinner outing to tell the girls about her pregnancy. Nick was standing in the kitchen holding his cross necklace in his hand making sure it was fastened. 

Lauren on the other hand was rummaging though the medicine cabinet, "You okay laur" Danielle asked concerned.

Lauren halfway ignored the comment but replied, "It's Camden, she has a migraine and cramps, if it's not the demons possessing her in her dreams,  it's this. We haven't slept in days."

Lauren grabbed two bottles of medicine and a cup of water and made her way back upstairs to Camden. She was laying under an abundance of blankets and had a pillow up against her stomach and Nemo covering her eyes, she was moaning in pain.

"Camz I got you medicine, "I know you don't like it, but you'll feel better if you take it, plus Nick is here to review the tapes."

Camden sat up, Lauren brushed her long locks of brown hair our of her face, she winced in pain as the sun peered through the window and made contact with her eyes.

"Lauren, I've never had a headache like this before."

"It's a migraine, you'll be okay."

Lauren laid Camden back down gently and covered her back up and rubbed her back until she was soundly sleeping.

Nick was setting up his computer in the living room on the coffee table spa everyone could sit on the couch and watch the tapes, Amani and Danielle interrupted him and pulled him to the kitchen. 

"Nick, Amani and I have something to tell you."

Nick sat down at the kitchen table with the two girls. 

"So I have some news. I'm pregnant. The other girls don't know yet, only Danielle and my older sister. I feel like I haven't been experiencing as much paranormal things since I found out except the hotel experience..." She trailed off.

Danielle screaming, "the fucking hotel!"

Nick stopped, "wait what happened at the hotel?"

Amani's demander changed, "there were text messages and screaming snd the words satan were written on the blanket covering me and the baby."

Danielle grabbed Nick, "do you think she's pregnant with a devil baby."

Nick chuckled softly, "Amani, Lauren told me all this, someone had possession of your body that night. It was a demonic spirit. It wasn't your baby or anything like that, you're not carrying a demon. Cassidy and Elizabeth will be protecting you more because you're pregnant, but it also makes you an easier target so the quicker we figure this out the safer you will be."

Amani gave him a confused look, "really?"

"Yes, you are carrying a child and you obviously want the best thing for him or her. Children are innocent. Just like Cassidy herself she doesn't understand that she brings demons in the house, she just wants to help, but she can protect you. I know that sound odd but she really can, and Elizabeth can protect you more now too. The other girls might get more demonic experiences until I figure out how to cleanse the house. Tonight we're all sleeping downstairs in a huge tent. I have one for you five girls and one for myself, we will figure everything out. I promise."

Dinah questioned, "she's going to be okay though right?"

Nick smiled, "she will be just fine, I will just have to watch her a little closer than the other girls."

Once Nick got everything all the girls congregated to the living room couch, Camden was still experiencing a migraine, she resided next to Lauren sand laid her head in her lap and her legs across Ally and Danielle.
