Amani's Doctor, Doctor Benson, pulled a chair up to Ally, Nick and Danielle, and MJ followed shortly after.

"I've never had a patient in so many different conditions in 24 hours. She's been in and out of consciousness, but she's fully aware of what's going on with her. She's cheated death, she's a powerhouse. Although the latest tests confirmed our worse fears, her kidneys aren't functioning very well they've decreased since earlier. She's sustained an acute severe kidney injury we call it a AKI, from the pneumonia. You have to have kidneys to survive. If Amani were to pull through enough to make decisions she would need dialysis that could help reverse the injury but it might end up being a lifetime of dialysis and she would need a transplant, and she wouldn't be able to dance, or do things she used to do. We're giving her medicine to help but without dialysis it's not going to do much. Her lungs are filling with fluid, she has agreed to let us put in a chest tube so we're just doing a bedside sedation with lidocaine, and putting the tube in that way we won't have to make it a surgical procedure, and we will remove it after two days. Our plan after that is  for her to see Amaya. The next few days are definitely risky but we just want what is best for Amani. Her mom and dad are in the room with her right now while they get the chest tube inserted. She just gave birth close to 3 days ago, so her body is also trying to recuperate from that as well."

That news upset all 3 of them, Sasha already knew the news, she held onto Danielle sobbing. She couldn't believe this was happening.

*March 16th*

Camden woke up on the couch the next afternoon, she felt tired even though she slept through the whole night without being woken up by any demons or nightmares. She swore she heard footsteps when she fell asleep, but she knew it was most likely her mind playing tricks on her. Camden's wrists and ankles were covered in bruises  and swollen from the demons trying to break her free of the belts she was tied up with. She was still paranoid and traumatized, the more she thought of the exorcism the more she remembered and it scared her. Nick purchased them a bed that morning and set it up for them. Camden didn't want to move from the couch, her stomach was hurting and her head still had a splitting headache, and she was throwing up. Nick said all of these things were normal. She had only said around 10 words since she woke up that morning.

Danielle and Ally were at the hospital with Amani, she had the drainage tube placed to help drain the fluid in her lungs, all the girls were familiar with this, Camden had one after she was shot. Amani's mom refused to leave her daughters room. She was able to talk some and was even smiling and making jokes with her friends. Nick had to take a drive to South Miami to do a blessing on a house.

Camden grabbed the remote off the table and turned Frozen on, she was eating some of the crackers Lauren placed on the table for her. Lauren was washing dishes in the kitchen when she heard a soft voice call from the couch.

"Lauren?"

Lauren dried her hands and rushed over to her fiancé, "Yes Camzi?"

"I just wanted you know I love you, and I can't wait to marry you."

Camden slowly stood up and gave Lauren a sloppy kiss on the lips.

Lauren couldn't help but laugh, and kissed Camden back.

"Lauren, I want to go Amani's room and look for something, can you help me with that?"

Lauren gave her fiancé a confused look but gave her a piggy back ride upstairs. She put Camden down and she went over to her nightstand and pulled the photo album out. She found a section of photos with her and Amani in them. She smiled thinking about all of their memories they made together. She found a photo of them cooking pancakes together.
