The Haunting of Forest Lane

Chapter Twenty Six

Nick knocked on Ally's bedroom door, "hey I bought icecream come downstairs and you can all make your own sundaes."

Ally, Danielle, Amani, and Lauren all got up from the bed and started to make there way downstairs, Camden remained sleeping on the bed.

"Babe, Nick bought icecream for us. Let's go."

She hardly moved, Lauren shook her a little harder, "Babe come on."

"Cant...Tired."

Lauren knew right then something was seriously wrong. She picked up her girlfriend who didn't react to being touched, she rushed her downstairs in her arms.

"Nick! Something is wrong with Camden."

Nick put down his ice cream bowl and rushed over to Camden who was laying lifeless on the couch.

"Camden, it's me Nick, I need you to open your eyes and tell me what's going on."

When he placed his head on Camden's head, she was freezing."

Danielle, Amani, Ally I need you all to get out of here, take the ice-cream and leave, I don't care where you go but please for your safety get out."

Ally began to ask a question, "why do we have to-"

"Please leave!"

The 3 girls rushed out of the house into the cool December air.

"Lauren grab an energy drink out of the fridge and blanket for her."

Lauren rushed to the fridge and grabbed a drink and a blanket and handed them both to Nick when she returned.

Nick opened the can and poured a little into Camden's mouth, and then covered her entire body with the blanket.

"Camden, I need you to swallow the drink."

She refused and spit it back out onto the floor below.

"What's wrong with her" Lauren asked with concern present in her voice.

"Something is taking over her. Something evil. She's not fighting back at all, all of her energy has been drained. I might have to preform an exorcism on her if it completely take over her body, and I don't want to have to do that. I'm afraid if I have to do that, then it might kill her with how weak she is, but if she doesn't start fighting this Lauren I honestly don't know what'll happen, this is a completely new situation for me."

"Mani, do you think everything is okay at home" Ally questioned.

She gripped the steering wheel, "I have no idea, but let's not think about that right now. I'm just going to drive us to the mall, and we can look at clothes like we did in high school, or even better baby clothes! Nick is with her and so is Lauren. They will make sure she's okay, this is Nick's job he promised he would help us and that involves helping Camden. So everything will be okay."

At home though, everything had taken a turn for the worse. Camden wouldn't fight the demons. The demons had full control over her and they were making her destroy the living room, there wasn't a second where something wasn't flying across the room or breaking.

"Nick!! You have to fix this!"

Nick looked at Camden then back at Lauren, "I don't know how! Every single case I've had the person swallows some of the energy drink and they start fighting off the demons, but she didn't drink any, she didn't help. I believe she was already too far gone when I gave her there drink. I'm trying to figure out what I need to do, but I'm coming up blank with all my knowledge of paranormal things and in 21 years I've never had something like this happen before. Lauren you need to get out of here."
