The Haunting of Forest Lane

Chapter Eleven

Amani, Camden and Lauren were back at their house eating ice cream and watching the vampire dairies on Netflix, Danielle was asleep already and Ally was still out with Troy. The house had been quiet all evening until they heard Danielle yell from upstairs.

"Stay here you two" Lauren stated in a firm voice.

Glass shattered from behind the two and they ran up the stairs disregarding what Lauren had just told them.

Lauren pushed the door open and they were all 3 greeted with the most demonic face they had ever seen. It has black eyes and raggedy hair that was an awful brown/red color, and no teeth just a gaping hole. Lauren went around the demon and grabbed Danielle.

The face scared Camden so badly she ran back downstairs but then she screamed.

"Mani, please go get Camz, help her."

When she reached the stair case, the front door opened and Ally entered the house and didn't even make it into the living room, without stopping in her tracks staring at the chaos happening in the house.

"Damnit Ally" Amani mumbled under her breath.

Downstairs Amani found Camden standing by the couch with 2 porcelain dolls holding knifes facing her.

"What in the fuck is going on now?"

What game was Cassidy playing Camden wondered.

Lauren grabbed Danielle and brought her safely to the hallway.

"Now time to save Cam."

Downstairs Lauren's eyes grew wide when she realized the situation.

"What the hell is going on" Amani shouted.

Amani was trying to pull the knife out of one of the dolls hands, but the other doll was threatening her.

"Seriously dolls, what the fuck is next?"

Lauren ran up to her room and grabbed her gun out of the safe under her night stand and walked up to the doll threatening Amani and held the gun to it.

"Put the knife down, and leave us alone."

The other doll began charging and Lauren, she realized right then she was terrified to shoot the gun, she was afraid she'd hurt one of the girls, but before she made a decision to shoot the gun the doll stabbed her in the knee. Lauren dropped the gun and Camden picked it up and shot it without thinking about it. The doll shattered into a million pieces and everyone looked at Camden in shock. They couldn't believe she actually shot the gun.

They snapped out of it when Lauren fell to the ground.

"Lauren are you okay" Danielle asked helping her off the ground to the couch.

"Dani. I got stabbed by a fucking doll."

Camden came back with the first aid kit.

"It's not a deep cut though, I'll be able to wrap it and cover it with some band aids. You're going to be okay."

"Where is the gun Cam?"

"Back in the safe."

"You know the password?"

Camden nodded "Yeah, I felt like it would the smart thing to do, since we share the house with demons."

The girls cleaned the glass from the doll up, and they threw the other one on the ground outside and it shattered in the driveway. They went in the house and found Lauren sitting on the couch holding her knee.

"Can you please take me upstairs, for some reason this is really painful."

Amani and Danielle helped her upstairs, they both gave her a hug and went to Dani's room to sleep. Camden joined her shortly after and cuddled up next to Lauren, right before she fell asleep she heard her softly sniffling.
