The Haunting of Forest Lane

Chapter Fifty Nine

Camden was still hurt by her fiancé not telling her about the past she had, had with Jade, but she knew the exorcism would be the only thing to help her so for right now she had to push that to the side.

Camden went downstairs and sat on the couch by her fiancé's legs. 

The movement woke Lauren up. Camden instantly knew Jade was inside Lauren's body. Her whole demeanor was different, she didn't brush her long hair out of her face or gave Camden a smile when she noticed her sitting on the couch. 

Danielle came downstairs and sat in the chair close to Camden, she glanced at Lauren.

Lauren shot her a dirty look, "what the fuck are you staring at?"

Danielle rolled her eyes, "nothing."

Camden and Danielle walked into the kitchen together. Camden couldn't believe everything that happened in the past few months. She hated that Lauren wasn't processing things. She didn't have time it was just one thing after another for her and this scared Camden even more. 

Ally joined the girls in the kitchen while Lauren slept on the couch.

"Do you think Lauren is going to be okay."

Danielle nodded, "come on it's Lauren we're talking about. Of course she's going to be alright. She is the strongest person I know.

Lauren woke up and grabbed an apple from the counter. 

"Baby girl you okay?"

Lauren whipped her head around, all three girls knew this was Jade. 

"Yep, just fine. I'm going to get some rest and I'll be going out later, and no none of you are invited, I'm going to downtown and who know what I'll end up getting into."

Camden rolled her eyes as Lauren went back and laid on the couch. 

"How dumb does Jade think we are? The eyes don't match, and Lauren never goes out."

Ally gave Camren a sympathetic smile, "you know Cam, I don't think Jade really cares too much, she's not in this for any revenge on us, she's in this to get what she believes she deserves and that's a life. I don't know why she chose Lauren, but we don't have time to figure that out right now."

Ally made the girls spaghetti for lunch which was one of Lauren's favorite meals. The girls all sat at the table while Lauren made herself comfortable on the couch.

Danielle ate quickly, "it's getting scary to see how comfortable Jade is in Lauren's body I mean she's just walking around here sleeping in Lauren's clothes, Lauren's bed, our couch using our blankets eating our food. Lauren isn't even trying to fight this."

Camden sighed, "I don't think Lauren even realizes what's going on. She said earlier she woke up with bruises and didn't know how they got there, so I think Jade somehow got into her without Lauren knowing."

Camden's phone buzzed.

Nick: Everything is moved out of your bedroom. MJ helped she's safe in Ally's room right now. Is Jade in her body?

Camden: Yes she was talking about going out tonight.

Nick: Get her upstairs. I want all of you in the room but Ally due to the attack she withstood today. If you can get her in the room I can tackle her and get her handcuffed to the chair that's in here. I'll hide behind the door and nobody will ever see it coming.

Camden made her way to Lauren who was sitting on the couch staring off into space.

"Lauren, I know you said I can't go out with you later tonight but Dani and I are going to the beach I have a brand new dress upstairs, can you come upstairs I want to show you."
