Nick came back downstairs and asked everyone but Lauren, Camden and Caroline leave the house. They all went to the pool house, Nick blessed the pool area and it seemed to help, but it was no avail when it came to the house.
Caroline stayed inside and sat by her daughter while Camden sat in a chair.
"Caroline I asked you to stay, Cassidy has expressed to me that she is scared of you. This is something I will use to my advantage, I just learned about this. She said that you remind her, of her own mother who let her drown in the pond, and that is how she died. Cassidy has never forgiven her mom for that day, even though it was in fact an accident. Since Cassidy sees her mom as letting her die, she's afraid you will make her disappear like her mom did."
Lauren and Caroline both were glancing at Camden while he was talking, after he finished they focused their full attention on Camden, they could see her getting weaker and weaker. Her eyes began to flicker from brown to black, almost as if her eyes were a light switch. Camden began to cry softly. She knew exactly what was happening. Something was trying to get into her body, and she was fighting with what little energy she had trying to prevent that from happening. Lauren was horrified this was happening again, Camden had her head down and she was staring at her Christmas tree slippers, she had Nemo on the table next to her, she didn't ask for any of this to happen to her, but she was trying so hard to not let Lauren or Caroline get hurt. Nick was watching closely as this kept progressing into something more and more. Nick watched as Camden's shirt was ripped in the chest area, where the bullet wound was covered. The demons could do anything in their power to make that wound burst open and cause her bleed out right in the living room, in front of her friend, and fiancé and her future mother in law. Nick knew he had to put a stop to this.
He grabbed Caroline by the hand and took her to the door, "I know you don't want to leave, but I believe since you're here Cassidy is using her demon 'friends' to try and get into Camden's body and she's angry with you being here I thought it was frighten her but obviously it took a different route. Camden isn't strong enough to fight against these right now, so wait outside and I'll let you know when it's okay to come in."
Caroline didn't protest against this she wanted what was best for Camden.
Inside Camden's body fell limp. When she did sit back up in the chair she wasn't herself, she was something else. Her eyes were blue, Lauren knew who she was, she wasn't something evil, this was Cassidy. Lauren approached Camden's body and sat on the arm of the chair and spoke nicely to Cassidy in hopes of getting Camden back without conflict.
"Hi Cassidy, I'm glad you could join us today, you know sweetie you're allowed to hang out with us as long as you're being nice. You didn't have to have demons come, and you could left Camden's body alone, she's not feeling really good."
"But, Lauren it's Christmas! That's my favorite holiday! My brother Roger and I used to bake cookies and leave milk for Santa, and we played with the train set my last Christmas, it was a wooden train set, I wish I had another one."
Lauren was becoming frustrated. Cassidy had complete control over Camden's legs and arms, and she was picking up Nemo and smiling at it and bouncing up and down in the chair, Lauren positioned herself on the floor now desperately trying to get Camden back.
Cassidy eyes were fixated on the Christmas tree and the lights, she walked over and dipped her fingers in the open icing container on the counter. Lauren and Nick knew Cassidy wasn't evil right now, she was just 5 year old enjoying Christmas. Cassidy didn't understand what she was doing. Everything was okay and Cassidy was in awe until a loud crash come from the bathroom off the kitchen.
Lauren and Nick's head turned and they focused on the bathroom. They knew this had to be some sort of a warning coming from Elizabeth. They started making there way over to the room, when a demon came out and Elizabeth ran towards Lauren.
