Special Chapter 2

Dumating ang Nobyembre at ipinagdiwang ko iyon kasama ang aking pamilya. We visited mom and Genesis, spent time together, and bought our kids a halloween custom.

Days passed by quickly and it's already the fifteenth of November. Nandito ako sa kwarto at nagbibihis dahil bibisita ako ngayon sa OB ko to know the gender of our baby.

Ako lang ang pupunta dahil hindi ko sinabihan si Kaius. Nasa trabaho kasi siya ngayon and I don't want to disturb him, so I decided to go with Jewel instead.

Tumunog ang cellphone ko kaya't kinuha ko iyon at sinagot ang tawag ni Jewel.

"Hey, Jewel. Where are you?"

[Already outside of your house, Mrs Kingston. Now hurry up, 'kay.]

"Alright, I'm coming. I'm sorry to disturb you on your beauty rest, Kiera Parvis."

[No worries, you're pregnant. I must come with you so that your husband doesn't get mad for leaving you by yourself.]

"Oh, shut up Jewel. I want it to be a surprise, alam mo naman."

[Yes, yes. Now hurry up. Excited na ako!]

Napailing na lang ako at ibinaba na ang tawag para lumabas na.

Pagpasok ko ng kotse ay pinaandar na niya ang makina at nag-punta na kami sa OB ko.

I'm kind of nervous to know about my baby's gender but more excited because I can finally buy dresses if it is a girl and boy clothes if it is a boy.

"Kumalma ka beng, nakakasama iyan sa kalusugan mo." Sulyap sa akin ni Jewel at nginitian ko naman siya bago bumuntong hininga.

"Eh paano ba naman, kinakabahan ako."

"But I'm excited." Kaagad akong napabaling sa kanya at tinaasan siya ng kilay.

"No one asked for your opinion, Jewel." Pabiro kong ani sa kanya at madrama naman siyang napasinghap at hinawakan ang dibdib niya na wari mo'y nainsulto siya sa sinabi ko.

"Gosh, that was harsh Luna! How dare you!" Tinawanan ko lang siya at sinabing nagbibiro lang ako.

Mabuti nang tumatawa muna ako bago ako kabahin mamaya..

When we reached the hospital of where my OB is, we got out of the car and walked inside the hospital. Nag-punta kami sa office ng OB ko at pumasok doon.

Kaagad na nag-angat ng tingin si Vera at nung nakita ako ay nginitian niya ako.

"Lucia! You're here early. Come, sit down." Iginaya niya ako papunta sa sofa na nasa may table niya at umupo ako doon. Tinapik ko din ang tabi ko para doon maupo si Jewel.

"I was expecting you to come here at 12, but I guess you're in a good mood to come, yeah?" Kaagad akong napatango sa sinabi niya at sinuri niya ako nang mabuti.

"I'm here para ipa-check ang gender ng baby ko, and to know if he or she is healthy." Nakangiti kong sabi sa kanya at napatango naman ito.

Agatha Vera Yilmaz is Evren's little sister. And Evren is a acquaintance of my husband. Their first meet was a coincidence because at that time, I passed out due to fatigue. And my husband accidentally saw him and asked for him to get his car and that's it.

"Alright, come here please." Pinahiga niya ako sa hospital bed at may kung ano siyang inilagay sa tyan ko and then nagsimula na siya sa dapat niyang gawin.

I dunno much about OBs so I don't really know what they do at times like these, but oh well.

I looked at the monitor beside me and my heart melted when I saw my baby moving inside of my tummy.
