This... Is the place where we used to play hide and seek.

Inside our manor, there is a mahogany tree in the middle of the garden where we spend time together. This tree holds a lot of memories of us, our meeting place. Where we met for the second time.

He carved a big infinity sign on its trunk and our names was inside of it. Ang sabi niya ay ako lang ang mamahalin niya habang buhay at sa pag-laki namin ay papakasalan niya ako.. he was very sure that we would end up together, but I didn't believe him. Because I know he will never be mine.

That time, when we had a family dinner with his family, Tito Waylen, his dad, introduced zendee as his fiancee. And that's when I knew I really don't stand a chance to confess my love for him. Someone owns him, so I kind of distanced myself from him. Even from tita and tito. Well, I was embarrassed of course, since I thought that they would engage him to me.

How funny... Do you even know how fate played with us? It's ironic.

Matapos ang nangyari kaninang umaga ay nag-punta ako dito sa garden namin at nakita ko ang mahogany tree na paborito naming lugar para mag-laro at mag-basa. Kaya ngayon ay na-stuck ako dito ng ilang oras na siguro.

This bring back memories... I just wish I could see him again and tell him that I love him. I want to apologize for forgetting him again, I want to hug him tightly and kiss him while muttering sweet words to his ears. Pero hindi ko na iyon magagawa dahil wala na siya sakin.

But come to think of it, he did not broke up with me, right? By the time I got into an accident, I forgot him, but I just realized that he didn't broke up with me. He was hurt, of course, because of the hurtful words I said to him, pero hindi naman siya nakipag-hiwalay. Does that mean I still have a chance to make things better for us?

Gusto kong puntahan ang mga paborito naming lugar kaya ay lumabas ako ng garden at bumalik sa kwarto ko. Nag-bihis ako sandali bago nag-paalam kay papa na lalabas muna para mag-libang.

It's not totally a lie because I will enjoy seeing the places where we used to go. Baka naman ay maka-salubong ko ang mga babae at mag-gala kami. Ang sabi nila ay mag-stay sila dito for Christmas and New Year so I was hoping that I'll bump into them. Alam ko naman kung saan sila nakatira pansamantala pero tamad ako kaya hindi ako mag-fi-first move.

"Don't come back late, okay? You know the rules, young lady." Papa said strictly.

"Opo, papa. Babalik po ako before mag-countdown. Baka po kasi maka-salubong ko sina Riley kaya baka matagalan po ako." Paliwanag ko at hinalikan siya sa pisngi.

"Oh, yes, bring them with you too. Inimbita ko sila na dito na lang mag-pasko sa atin kaya paki-sabay na lang sila, okay darling?" I just nod at papa and waved goodbye before leaving the house.

I just used my bicycle since I don't want to look flashy when I go to the riverside or even in the park using my freakin' car. I left our village and go to the places I remember one by one.

Una akong pumunta sa playground malapit sa village na pag-aari nila at dahil hindi naman masyadong malayo ang sa kanila ay nakarating ako doon sa loob ng 15 minutes. Ang paborito naming upuan ay ang swing sa gitna ng playground at naupo ako sa pwesto ko noon. Sa kaliwa.
