"You're doing really great Natasha.", Dreykov said standing in front of the almost 9 months pregnant Natasha. She didn't answer him. She was pissed. It wasn't the fact that he had gotten her pregnant with some other man's sperm, it was the fact that he made her feel hope and carry not one but two babies inside of her for 8 months just to afterwards tell her that he'd make her forget about everything that had happened during these last months. That's what made her mad.
Dreykov had everything planned from the beginning on.
"Oh Natasha, you're still mad? At least you're getting a year with them, it's more than enough. Otherwise they'll make you weak.", he then told her, his strong Russian accent audible. "But what if I don't change, what if everything stays the same...? I promise I'll still be a good assassin, please...", Natasha begged. She usually never begged, to her it was a sign of weakness, but at that moment it seemed Ike her only chance of getting what she wanted. "Stop being stupid Natalia, just stop it."And with that, he walked out of the room.
*weeks later*
There she was, holding two little beautiful girls. Alanna and Grace, she called them. They weren't even two days old. "Give them to me Natalia, they need their special shot."
the special shot....
That's what he used to tell her when she was pregnant too. A lot of shots, too many shots, and his only explanation was that it would make them stronger and smarter. They needed it, he said. If Natasha believed it? No. She was too scared of saying anything though. He might've just taken them away from her too soon. "Don't you think it might be a little too much for them, Dreykov?"
„No Natasha, don't you get it? I'll make them stronger, smarter and better!Indeed it would make them stronger and smarter, it would also make them stronger than the other girls. Well, if it worked. This shot was kind of a soldier serum, they wanted the perfect spies and they had it clear that it would help them more if these spies were kids. Natasha was one of the strongest, if not the strongest, child spy they ever had so, why not try it with her kids? I mean if they trained them like they trained her, they would be able to train mini Natasha's and to them it seemed like the best thing ever.
Months passed. Natasha kept growing closer to the twins and the twins to her. They grew to be two little cute and beautiful toddlers, both with hazel eyes, brown skin and curly brown hair. With only six Alanna started walking and with eight months she was saying her first words, she was the fast learner. Kate on the other hand needed more time. Eight months and she still couldn't walk. To Natasha it wasn't a problem but to Dreykov it was a huge one. The kid wasn't being as fast as her sister. She was acting like a normal baby and this couldn't be. Dreykov wouldn't have been able to do something to Grace, everyone knew that. That's why Natasha wasn't worrying about it, but she was worrying about something else. Four months were left until she would never remember them again and they wouldn't remember her either. She would be a no one in their lives. So she tried to enjoy the time with them as much as possible. And when the time came she cried and yelled and begged and suddenly everything that happened, all the happiness she felt in her life for these 12 months were gone and forgotten....
