Natasha's pov
I look around before opening the door. A gun in my sweaty hands. Yelena's in there. My little sister is in this apartment and I know that the first thing we're gonna do is point at each other with guns.
"I know you're out there."
"I know you know."***
"перемирие"(truce), I say. We both let go of the curtain that was chocking us a second ago. She immediately stood up and ran towards a wardrobe.
"Are you okay?", I hear her whisper. "I'm scared...", I hear a little girl sob.
"Oh my god...", I breath out. "Yelena who's in there?" , I shout slowly getting closer. "Mama?", the girl then says, louder than before.
Alanna.
"Alanna!"
I run towards her and hug her. My little gorgeous girl. She's finally back with me.
I hug her tighter. To feel closer to her. But I notice she's thinner. A lot thinner. I might talk about it later, but right now it's just about us being together again and never being separated again.
"I missed you so much...", I breath out against her hair. She looks up to me. Her eyes are not the way they used to be. They're more emotionless.
"So you're a mother?", Yelena asks me. I nod with a weak smile on my face. "And you're an auntie."***
„When are we going home mom?", Alana asks sitting in the back of the car we just stole. I look back at her. She doesn't look really comfortable. „when we're done with this little mission."
She nods. Her hands still shaky and her eyes still red from the tiredness she was feeling. I know she is cause her bright features are gone. „When will we see dad again?"
„Soon darling, soon."
She nods again. Her legs are trembling and all of a sudden she continuously starts tapping my back. „Stop the car, she's throwing up.", Yelena says in the calmest voice ever. As if it was normal.
I pull up on the side of the road. Alanna immediately runs out and vomits all over the floor. Yelena and I run out as well. „As soon as all this is done, you must help her." I turn towards Yelena. I know. She doesn't look great at all. „She's not okay Natasha. I've noticed that that just by spending some days with her. She doesn't eat properly and whenever she does this happens."
I nod.
I'll help her in every way possible. Don't worry Natasha she'll be doing ok soon. With you and Steve. I keep telling myself. I'm so in my thoughts that I don't realize Alanna is standing in front of me again. Her eyes are teary and with no second thought I
I grab her by her hands and pull her into a hug. I try not to hold her too tight. It's almost like I can only feel her bones and just a little bit of flesh. Almost. Then she lets it out. Everything she's been wanting to let out for such a long time. And I take it. I'll take all her pain.
"It's gonna be ok baby.", I whisper, afterwards giving her a kiss on her hair.
Her sobs get louder and her hug stronger.
"It hurts...", she cries.
I look at Yelena, who's looking sadly at us. "Tell me what hurts.."
"Everything mama, everything.."****
Steve's pov
I dial her number one more time. Where is Natasha? This is usually our time to talk. Normally she picks it up why is she not doing it now?
Did something happen to her?
I get up from my bed and exit the little camper I'm staying in.
What if something happened to her?
I must go get her. There's this man who's helping her. Maybe I could get him to help me. I mean, she told me to call him whenever I thought she was in danger.
I start dialing his number.
"Hello?", his voice sounds through my phone.
"Hi, this is Steve."
"Oh, hi Steve!"
I sigh. I don't know why, but I don't like this man. He just spends so much time with Natasha, I wish I could spend so much time with her right now.
"I've been calling Nat and she's not answering. Do you know if she's doing ok?"
I wait for a moment.
"Oh, she was but now she's not."
"What do you mean she was?", my voice raises.
"She was attacked by some black widows. Then she found her long lost sister-"
Natasha has a sister?
"Oh and now she's on her way here with her sister and daughter."
Daughter.
Alanna.
She found her.
"Tell me where you are, I'll meet you there."Natasha's pov
For one moment I stay in the car. Alanna's head laying on my legs.
That's what I've wanted for so long. Now she's here and I have to leave her again.
But I must stop Dreykov now. Everyday with him alive, will be a day full of dangers for my family.
"Nat you said there was only gonna be one friend.", I hear Yelena say from the drivers seat.
I turn to the window. I can see Steve running up to the car.
Steve!
As soon as he arrives, he opens the door.
"Natasha.", he breathes out, a kiss following after.
"Thank god you're safe, you don't know how worried I was.."
He looks down at Alanna, who's still deeply asleep. His look turns into a more sad one.
"What have they done to her.."
My eyes feel watery again. I shake my head.
I don't wanna talk about it.
"Let's just enjoy that she's back.", I say. A tear rolls down my cheeks.
"You're right, we'll deal with it later. For now let's just enjoy the time."Hello guyssss, I'm back🤍
