I quickly step back from Daniel.
No no no no no...
Not mom.
Out of all people mom had to find us?
"Mom...", I manage to get out of myself. I look at Daniel. He's just as shocked as I am.
"Is that what you guys do after successful hours of tutoring?"
I'm so embarrassed right know. I don't even know what to tell her. Usually I always have an answer in mind. But I've never done this before and wasn't planning on doing it either. I've never had to think of an excuse because of kissing a boy.
"Mama it's not the way you think it is...", I assure her.
It is the way it looks. It just isn't the way she thinks it is.
"Oh I think it is Alanna, I have eyes."
I turn to Daniel.
"Miss Romanoff, uhm-", he starts but mom cuts him off. "Alanna.", she sternly says, her arms crossed. "Go inside before your father sees this."
I quickly nod. I don't need dad finding out. I don't have that patience. Also I've already been grounded enough.
"Bye Daniel..", I whisper. I want to hug him real bad, but considering the state we're at right now, I decide not to.
'I'll call you later..', I mouth him over. He nods with a little smile plastered on his face.
"And Daniel, I assume your parents are waiting for you at your home, so please go there.", I hear her tell him before entering the house and walking into my room as fast as possible and closing the door behind myself.
"Alanna!", I can already hear mom call out my name.
I'm in so much trouble.
Mom can accept everything I do.
But a boy?
Never.
She's really protective over me specially when it comes to this. She won't tolerate it. She's gonna yell at me and tell me how I've lost all her trust. Then she'll be mad at me for like a week, for not telling her about my feelings over him.
It is worse than it sounds.
But it's worth it.
I got to kiss him...
AHHH I've finally had my first kiss!
I smile to myself.
That smile disappears quickly as the door flys open revealing my furious mother.
"Mom, let me explain-"
"No Alanna, now you let me talk."
I nod in defeat, sitting down on my bed since it's possible the lecture she's about to give me might take a little longer.
"What were you thinking?! Kissing boys in front of your house, really? It couldn't have been somewhere your whole family couldn't have seen it? And since when are you guys so close? You know what I think about boyfriends-"
"He's not my boyfriend mom..."
But I wish he was.
"Then why the hell are you kissing him!?"
"Because we like each other?", I answer frustrated. She's so dramatic, really. It almost seems like she caught us doing something else.
"Mom please calm down, it's just a kiss. There's people out there doing worse... besides, I don't get why it took you so much by surprise, you know it would've happened someday and he's the only boy I'm constantly around so those are no crazy news."
Oh.
She's red.
Her hair and face could have the same color.
The last part was too much.
"Are you doing more?", mom then asked me. You can see she's trying hard to stay calm. So I quickly shake my head. "Believe me mom this was my first kiss ever, I've never done anything more." , she sighs in relieve.
"So you really like him?"
A lot.
I nod.
"Does he respect you?"
I nod again.
"And you're sure about this?"
"I've never liked anyone the way I like him before, Mom. He really makes me so happy.."
She sits down next to me and weakly smiles. "Well then, if you're happy, I'm happy."
I hug her. "Thanks mom."
"But if you're so serious about him, I want to get to know him better."
"Noted."
"And from now on I only want you to tutor him here, when a grown up is around."
"Alright."
"And one last question, those roses there are all from him, right?"
"Yes mom.", I sigh.
"Ha! I knew you were lying! Why on earth would you buy yourself roses only to decorate your room?", she stands up from next to me. I look at the clock. It's time for Bella to go to sleep. She'll go say good night.
Bella's been calling mom for the past few minutes so now mom has to go.
"Let me go tuck Bella in.", she tells me standing in front of if my closed door. "Mom...", I stop her before she can open the door. "Please don't tell dad, alright?"
She gives me a smile. "I wasn't planning on. He'd kill that boy first of and he's already mad enough because of the situation earlier, if I told him now, you'd be grounded for the rest of your life."
"Thank you..."
She just quickly nods and exits my room.
