Saturday 2nd November

Dear diary,

I haven't heard anything from senior Amarachi, so my life has been a bit peaceful,

Well the peace didn't really last too long,

Honour has become a totally different person, she kept looking at Feyi and I in a strange way,
"I think Honour has something to say to us," I told Feyi when I couldn’t take the strange stares anymore
"What made you think that?"
"Well, she has been looking at us like we offended her"
"She's probably just frustrated about something, she'll be fine" She just brushed it off

I still think an apology could've prevented what Honour ended up doing,

Feyi's clothes went missing first and then mine,we thought senior Funmi came to take them for ironing so we didn't really bother but by afternoon when we supposed to go for lunch we still hadn't seen our clothes and when we went to ask Senior Funmi she said didn't take it,

We couldn't go for lunch and Senior Abigail couldn't allow us to stay inside so we sat outside our block while others went for lunch,
Honour passed by us with Hannah, the girl that got the mess I was in with Senior Amarachi,
They both looked at us like they knew something we didn't and they laughed loudly,

"What's funny?" Feyi was already frustrated so their laughter only irritated her further
"What's your business?" Honour shot back at her
"Since when did we have to get permission from you before we laugh" that was from Hannah
"Honour, you know what this girl did to Dabira and you’re walking and laughing with her, don’t you care about your friend?
"Which friend?" I didn't expect that from her,
"So you don't see me as a friend?" I had to ask
"I don't have anything to say to either of you, I wish you luck in finding your clothes" and with that, the both of them walked away,

"What did she mean by 'which friend'?" Feyi was just as confused as I was,
"I don't understand her, but right now, I can't think about that, we need to find our clothes, tomorrow is Sunday and we need our whites"
"Let's check every courtyard, just incase someone took them to play a prank on us"
We got up and continued our search,

We continued searching even after lunch ended, I got frustrated and almost started crying,
"Let's go and tell Mummy K" Feyi suggested, she was also very frustrated,
"Someone took all your clothes?" Mummy K asked when we told her what happened,
"Yes ma"
"Both of you?"
"Yes ma"
"Have you asked your sister?" That question was directed at Feyi,
"Yes ma, she didn't take it"
"And you've checked all the courtyards?"
"Yes ma"
"What do we do now?"
If we knew what to do, we wouldn't have come to you, I wanted to say this but I kept it to myself,
After sitting and thinking for like five minutes, she finally stood up and said
"Let's check the lockers of all your mates"

When we got to the dorm with Mummy K, everybody was surprised,

"Everybody stand by your lockers, and when I get to your locker, you must open it, We need to find your dorm mate's missing clothes"

After that announcement, she started the search, the first 5 people were clean, then we got to Honour's locker but it was still locked,
"Why is your locker locked?"
"I misplaced my key ma"
I didn't believe her and thankfully neither did Mummy K,
"I'm going to check other lockers, by the time I finish with them, your locker must be open"
She went on to check the last two people, then she moved to the next dorm,

We searched all their lockers and we found some of Feyi's clothes in Hannah's locker
"What are her clothes doing in your locker?"
"I didn’t know they were there ma, she said she hid everything far awa..." she realized what she just said,
"She?"
"Ma- Ma?"
"Who is the 'she' that took the clothes"
I had my guess but I wanted to hear what she was going to say,
"Ma, I was-i mean" she was still stammering
"If you don’t talk right now, i will make sure that you face the disciplinary committee"

We all knew what the disciplinary committee was, it was everybody's nightmare so when Mummy K mentioned it, Hannah immediately started talking
"It was Honour" she started crying " she said she wanted to take revenge on Feyi and Dabira"
"Why did she want to get revenge on them"
"She said they always made her feel lonely and that she was always an outcast around them"

I was surprised at this, I don't think I ever did anything to make her feel like an outcast
"Why did she come to meet you? she could've gone to ask any other person"
"I don't know ma"
"You're still lying to me"
"It's because she knows that I don't like Dabira"
"Did Dabira do anything to you?"
"No ma"
"Then what's your issue with her?"
"I just get annoyed whenever I see her, she behaves like she's better than every other person around her"

It didn't feel like I was the person she was talking about because there was no way I behaved like that,

We went back to my dorm to check Honour's locker
"I still can't find my key ma" she was still lying
"Don’t give me that, Hannah already told me everything so if you don’t open that locker and give these girls their clothes,you face the Disciplinary committee first thing on Monday"
She wasn't happy about it, but she couldn't do anything, so she reluctantly opened the locker,

Our clothes were squeezed in the locker,Feyi had already ironed them but she squeezed them,
"The both of you can take your clothes back"
Then she turned to Honour and Hannah
"The both of you are coming with me"
As they went with her, I was still wondering why Hannah thought I was a proud person and what I ever did to make Honour feel like an outcast
