•Saylor's POV•

"Braeden James." He walks across the stage to get his diploma.
My parents did show up to my graduation, thanks to my dad who convinced them to go.
Braeden and I had come up with a plan to tell them we were dating at our graduation, so I didn't have to sneak out anymore.
Rylynn was here and apparently her big news is that she has a boyfriend. A super hot shoe store employee. He's twenty five and my ex boyfriend. Weird.
After this we're all going to a party at Emma's house and Braeden has to leave early.
"Saylor Johnson."
I walk across the stage and shake our principles hand grabbing my diploma, before standing next to Braeden in our line.
"Emma Jones." I clap for my friend as she receives her diploma.
"Kyle Stevens," I can hardly resist the urge to grab Braeden's hand, but I know they'll be time later.
"Mason Tate," we slowly file through the line of graduates and make our way to the end.
Finally the last person is called and we stand in a our group, waiting for further instructions.
When told to, we throw up out caps and I bring Braeden's lips to mine.
I take his hand and search through the crowd for my family as my sister runs up to me. "I'm so proud of you little sissy," she glances at Braeden's hand attached to mine, but I pretend to not notice.
"Hey baby," my dad hugs me, and stands back looking at Braeden's hand.
"Mom, Dad, Braeden and I are dating."
He moves his hand from mine to my waist, pulling me closer to him.
"What?" My mom starts going ballistic. "I thought we raised you better than this, young lady!"
"Excuse me? Are you really gonna tell me that? I don't need to hear what you're gonna say, I don't need you opinion, and quite frankly, I don't want to hear it."
I take Braeden's hand and walk to Emma, seeing her in a lip lock with Kyle.
I put my lips on Braeden's and wrap my arms around his neck, "I wish I could stay like this forever."
"Me too, baby."

After hanging out at the after party for a while, we decided just to go back to his house together, since his parents were away on a business trip again.
I change into some of his boxers and one of his long tee shirts, before joining him on his bed.
I lay my lips on his as they move in sync. His hands hold my hips stable and move upward.

//Later That Night//

"Saylor." I slowly wake up from my sleep and see Braeden watching and whispering to me.
"What?"
"I have to leave."
I sit up quickly realizing he's leaving. I slip his shirt over my head again and wrap my arms around his neck.
"I'm gonna miss you so much, baby." He whispers into my ear.
"Don't forget about me, please," I choke on my tears.
"I couldn't forget you if I tried, baby girl. I love you so much." We kiss one last time as I walk home blinded by my tears.

I brought my knees up to my chest and cried for about the sixtieth time today. What if he doesn't love me when he comes back. Six months is a long time.
When his mom said she'd do anything to keep us away from each other she meant it. She wasn't kidding at all.
Rylynn walks in my door cautiously. "What?" I say a little more bitter than I had intended to.
"How are you feeling?"
"Oh, you know, just great."
"Maybe, maybe this is for the best. I know you can't see this right now, but maybe he's not the right one. That's why he was sent away. It's a sign."
"Yeah, uh hmm, okay."
"I'm just trying to make you feel better."
"It's not working Rylynn!" I scream, just wanting her to leave.
She does as if she can read my mind, and shuts the door swiftly behind her.
I grab my phone, no text from Braeden. Had he forgotten about me already?
It's probably just the flight. It's taking longer than usual.
Yeah, that's it. He hasn't forgotten about you Saylor. He loves you. He said so himself.
I take a deep breath, filling my lungs with air.
Ow. My stomach starts cramping and I lay down for a while, hoping they're gonna go away.
They continue for a while longer and then stop, suddenly. Oddly, they start up again about two minutes later. Except these ones don't stop. They just keep happening and happening.
I finally force myself to stand up and get dressed, before leaving my house to go to Emma's.
I grab the key under her hanging plant and let myself into her house.
I hear her in her room and make my way up the stairs, I push the door open and shield my eyes.
"Oh my god!" I fall to the floor clutching my eyes.
"Saylor!" She laughs and I hear Kyle do the same.
"My virgin eyes!" I cry.
"We both know that's a lie." She laughs, shutting the door in my face.
She opens it a few minutes later and Kyle heads down the stairs, going into her kitchen.
"Sorry for interrupting, I just didn't expect to see, well that."
"What's that supposed to mean? Did you hear about Kayden?"
"Yeah, if he wants to graduate he has to take summer school. What a loser. And I hear he's not taking it. I guess he's just quitting."
"He gets what he deserves. It couldn't have happened to a better person."
"That's true. I can't believe the way he treated you, he used to be so sweet and now, how many times has he been to juvie in the past two months?"
"It's crazy," she pushes her hair back and starts walking down the stairs.
"You want me to leave so that you can get back to your, you know?"
"Nah, it's okay. So Braeden left this morning?"
"Last night. It sucks, I already feel like it's been years."
"He's only gonna be gone six months."
"That's half a year, Em!" I'm never going to make it.

A/N: ok so in here when Saylor said her mom was going ballistic it reminded me of my mom when I told her I liked someone she couldn't stand. Haha ok bye
