"Enough with the freezing Jaemin!" Haechan clapped his hands in front of his friend's face. "You have tea that needs to be spilled, so spill!"

Jaemin snapped out of his thoughts, mind racing a mile a minute as he was overwhelmed with the memories he had made last night. They raced towards the front of his brain as if his mind had placed them on hyperspeed, each fragment of the night desperate to be replayed.

"Well..." he whispered, blinking himself back into reality. His mind grows quiet, the memories organising themselves into the correct sequence. As if he had wished for it, Jaemin viewed the first major memory come to the forefront of his mind, blinking at him as if to tell him exactly where he should start his story. "I suppose that I should begin just after the fireworks.."

"But we already know what happened after the fireworks!" Haechan hisses, throwing his hands into the air as he was overcome with a feeling of helplessness. "You're dragging this on, when all we want to know are the spicy details!"

"Eh, excuse me!" Renjun waves his hand in front of his friend's face, when he's certain he's gained Haechan's attention he recoils his hand and waves to the air between himself and Dejun. "Us romantics would like him to set the groundwork, it provides a basis for the spicy scenes!"

"It's like foreplay." Dejun explains, much to Renjun's disgust. "What?!" He howls when he notices the disturbed gaze from the eldest Dreamie member. "I'm speaking in Haechan's language."

"He has a point," Haechan responds, eyes focusing back on Jaemin whose cheeks had brightened at how serious they were taking their conversation. "Carry on with the foreplay."

Flashback

"Happy New Year!"

The fireworks going off outside the dormitory flashed their multi-coloured flecks through the small holes formed by the rest of the members standing out on the balcony. The colours danced along the walls, creating shapes and shadows that illuminated the room in a burst of colour that would slowly die out before a brand new sequence danced its way over the previous trails.

Jaemin could hear the gasps of his friends, awed by the beauty of the spectacle happening before their very eyes. A few hours ago Jaemin thought that he would be standing by their sides, marvelling beneath the colourful bursts of New Year flare. And yet, here he stood. In the centre of his dormitory's living room, with his arms wrapped tightly around his crush's shoulders. His heart fluttering up a storm in his chest as he allowed the elder access to his mouth, his temperature raising every time Jeno pulled him impossibly closer by his waist. After a long pining era, Jaemin finally got a taste of heaven and he was going to enjoy every minute of it.

Well, he would have, had it not been for the sounds of retreating footsteps.

Jaemin had just enough time to pull himself completely from Jeno's hold, his cheeks flaring as the sound of their kiss echoed off the walls right back at him. He heaved for breath as he stared straight at the man who had been kissing him senseless moments before, his heart stopping when he noticed just how blissed Jeno looked.

"Did you see how beautiful the fireworks were?" Chenle yelled straight into Jaemin's face. His shout snapping the boy from his Jeno-induced trance. "They were so beautiful, they completely blew my expectations away hyung!"

"I'm glad you enjoyed them, Chenle." Jaemin spoke beneath his fingers, having raised his hand to his lips to try and mask their obvious swelling. From over the younger's shoulder, Jaemin could see as Jeno was whisked into conversation by Mark, the eye smiling idiot flashing his swollen lips as if nothing had happened. Jaemin felt his knees wobble.
