"Jaemin!" Mark shouted, smiling broadly as he pulled the poor boy past the doorframe and into the house. The pink haired teenager stumbled into his hyung's arms trying oh so desperately to hide the blush on his cheeks, he couldn't let Mark know how much he effected him so early into the night. "You're just in time! Donghyuck has this incredible idea for tonight's party and I honestly can't wait!"

Jaemin didn't put up much of a fight as Mark pulled him through the hallway and into the livingroom where the party goers were gathering in a circle around the room. Jaemin watched as Renjun sent him a wave from his spot next to Sungchan who was eagerly waiting for Mark to return.

"Everyone has now officially arrived, let's get this going!" Mark hollered, throwing the arm that wasn't currently wrapped around Jaemin's shoulder into the air. "Donghyuck explain your marvellous idea to the crowd before you!"

Jaemin should have known that the words 'Donghyuck' and 'idea' didn't belong together in one sentence. He should have known that it would only lead to chaos and shouts of approval from practically the entire room, apart from Renjun who merely sent Jaemin a glance when the words registered.

Donghyuck had come up with the idea of a surprise blind date. He had gathered half of the boy's names and placed them into one of Mark's snapbacks. According to the rules those whose names weren't in the cap would draw one and score that person as a date for the night. Fortunately everyone whose name was already in the cap drove there. Jaemin knew his name wasn't involved, he would be picking.

"How can you even call this a party if we are all going to leave anyway?" Yangyang wondered, watching as Donghyuck began by offering out the cap to Taeyong.

"Each couple will have a date for four hours, if things go well we can all meet back here by midnight and then the real party can begin."

Jaemin hated the way Donghyuck's lips coiled upwards in a teasing smirk. He hated how his whole crush rode on this lottery system. He hated the fact that the only other person he could consider spending the four hour long tortuous event with was already scratched off the list as Taeyong revealed that Jaehyun would be his date for the evening.

"Renjun~" Donghyuck's sweet voice pulled Jaemin's attention away from his blushing hyung. He turned and watched as Renjun shifted the slips of paper before eventually pulling one out. He kept it enclosed in his fist, glaring up at Donghyuck who could only smile larger at the sight of it. "Arent ya going to open it?"

"I hate you..." Renjun muttered under his breath but Jaemin was close enough to hear it. He watched as his best friend opened the slip, his eyes widening as he read the name written out on the paper. "Yangyang."

Jaemin's head fell between his shoulders, his lungs heaving as he tried to prevent the laugh from slipping past his lips. Renjun hated Yangyang because according to the smaller of the two their personalities just didn't seem to line up, which was total B.S. to Jaemin because he had seen them both in action before. Maybe Donghyuck's plan was working out after all.

"Hey how do we know you didn't rig this?!" Renjun screamed after his friend who had moved on to Sungchan.

"I only wrote the names, Lucas was the one to make them bigger, smaller and folded. I had no part in it, besides I'm playing too you know!"

"I don't like how my fate is being placed in the hands of a demon..." Hendrey huffed, his arms crossing over his chest as Shotaro was crossed off the list.

Jaemin hadn't realised it but Dejun was standing right next to him, seemingly unbothered by the whole thing. Jaemin watched as the boy picked out his slip of paper, he opened it and read the name aloud.
