I would do anything for you

When Jaemin awoke that morning, there wasn't an ounce of suspicion in his mind. He thought that he knew what the day would hold and he recalls how excited he was to experience it. 

The walk down to breakfast was filled with his light hearted humming, a small skip in his step every so often. He smiled happily as his eyes met Renjun's when he walked into the room, the elder already indulging in Kyungsoo's famous pancakes. 

"Good morning everyone!" Jaemin giggled, skipping his way over to the fridge to grab his daily shot of O negative and his typical glass of orange juice. 

"Why is he so loud?" Sehun's groan stemmed from the furthest  place setting, the vampire holding his head between his hands as his elbows balanced haphazardly on the table. "Someone please shut him up, please!"

"Why's he so grumpy this morning?" Jaemin wondered, sliding into a vacant seat next to Jisung who welcomed him to his side with a bright smile. 

"Him and Minseok got drunk from a last minute drinking contest. Minnie unfortunately drank him under the table, he's in the shower washing the stench of alcohol off while this idiot is trying to find the centre of the room." Kyungsoo explained, appearing in front of Jaemin with a plate filled with pancakes. "Eat up kiddo," he grinned, patting him lightly on the shoulder. "remember you need your strength for hunting today!"

Jaemin's smile grew wider, his teeth faintly tinted by the blood he had just drank. Kyungsoo chuckled but gestured to it nonetheless. Jaemin's lips slammed closed while his tongue swept against his teeth, tasting the remnants of his donor. 

"I swear every time I try to look up, the room starts spinning!" Sehun continued to complain. Pretty soon after, the kitchen echoed the loud thud of his forehead hitting against the table-top. Even Jisung let out a small groan. 

"Serves you right for drinking like an idiot!" Kyungsoo retorted, sending a glare at the vampire from his position in front of the stove. His arms were on his hips and he was still carrying his pancake spatula, which was surprisingly clean despite the cooking batter. "Why the hell did you guys think it was a good idea?!"

"Because they're idiots." Baekhyun's voice was teasing and light as he entered the kitchen with his famous box-grin on his lips. 

Kyungsoo just scoffed at his presence, still warming up to the intruder who had showed up uninvited on their doorstep a few days ago. Jaemin's heart sung in his chest as his gaze found that of his savior. While most of the older werewolves were still a bit skeptical about him, Baekhyun saved Jaemin's life. And for that, he would be forever grateful to him. 

"Are you ready for hunting tonight kiddo?" Baekhyun wondered, slinging an arm over Jaemin's shoulder. 

The hybrid beamed up at him, nodding his head eagerly since his mouth was stocked full with pancakes. Baekhyun just giggled at him, allowing his fingers to run through the ends of Jaemin's hair. 

"Good morning everyone!" Haechan announced at the top of his lungs, a devilish smirk on his lips as he immediately set his gaze on Sehun who loudly groaned at the second echoing in his ears. "HA! So what Minseok-hyung said is true! You are hungover!"

"And your yelling is definitely not helping the matter Haechan-ah." Chanyeol followed him into the room, offering the younger a small smile when Haechan craned his neck to look up at him. 

"Sorry hyung."

"No need for the apologies" Chanyeol chuckled, gently nudging him with his shoulder. "just not so loud next time okay? There are still quite a few people in this house who are asleep, you know?"

"Hyung, is it still okay that I skip out on my chores for today? I was hoping to spend more time with Baekhyun-hyung." Jaemin questioned the taller wolf, smiling politely when Chanyeol turned towards him from his place in front of the fridge.
