Chapter Fourteen:
~ Zev's POV ~
I walked downstairs and looked around. It's been waaaaaaaay too quiet. Extremely quiet. I practically slept the day away yesterday since that run seemed to take a lot out of me, which is weird. But then again Silver was competing against me. She thinks she's so badass. Well baby girl, I hate to break the news but you're not as badass as you really think you are, darling.
'Oh, but you do think she's badass.' My wolf said. I rolled my eyes. Come on now, I have Quinci. 'Quinci isn't yours and you know she's not... she can't even benefit you anymore.'
"I'm ignoring you now." I said through my teeth. Sinn came up and slapped my back.
"Sup dude." He said sitting down.
"Hey man, have you seen Silver?" I asked. A smile slowly spread across his face.
"So you do have the hots for her huh..." He smirked. "I can understand it though she's really hot."
"Who's... really hot?" Quinci said stepping in. Sinn groaned rolling his eyes. Why does everyone hate her so much?
"No one." I said. She came and wrapped her arms around my waist. Any other time I'd feel in the mood for her touch but not today.
"Aww, not even me?" She asked in a baby voice.
"Hey you two, if you're gonna do that take it up to the bedroom, mkay?" Elliot said walking in.
"Fine, let's go upstairs baby." Quinci whispered in my ear grazing my lobe. I stepped away from her.
"Not now." I said. She mumbled something then walked away. Both Sinn and Elliot snickered.
"She's a hoe." Elliot mumbled.
"You do know she's with me.' I said.
"That's the only reason why we're so lenient on her." Sinn said putting on a fake smile.
"I think it's best we don't talk to her, it's bad enough we have to hear her stupid voice." Elliot groaned.
"New subject, where's Silver?" I asked. Elliot smirked.
"Sorry Zev, she's mine." He grinned deviously. I raised a brow.
"Oh really?" I asked. He chuckled.
"I wish. Dominate, fierce, sexy. The PERFECT mate." Elliot said biting his lip. I just stared at him incredulously.
"Really dude? Really?" I asked. They laughed.
"Hell. Yeah." They said in unison. "She's worth everything."
"And who are we talking about that's worth everything?" Slade asked running a hand through his bedhead.
"The finest babe." Sinn said biting his lip.
"Now you guys are concerning me." I said staring at them. Slade let out a groan.
"DUDE. Do you realize how sexy and badass she is?" He asked.
"She's not very badass Slade." I said.
'Oh really? And if she were here what would you say?' My wolf asked. Didn't I block you out? 'You can't, I'm your wolf.'
"Who's not very badass?" Cade asked.
"Silver." I said folding my arms across my chest.
"Zev, you're crazy." Cade said. "I mean remember when she was on the run with us, she's a strong wolf, and she's got a mighty sexy body."
