Just My Luck, Stuck With The Alpha.

Chapter Fifty-Four.

That night was one of the most painful nights in my life. To say Zev wasn't soft would be a lie. He was like a turtle. Fragile on the inside of his shell, practically indestructible on the outside. I had just so happened to get to the soft Zev.

I'd never seen Zev cry. And it hurts to see him cry. I don't ever, want to cause him any pain. But I can't help this. I have no control over this.

Morning came and Zev and I just stayed in bed. He stared at me all night and traced his fingers all throughout my skin. His delicate fingers made me giggle a lot, but then again I'm really ticklish.

"You're perfect." he said looking in my eyes. I smiled and shook my head.

"No one's perfect." I told him.

"You are. You're a gift from the spirits, from God, from whoever. I'm lucky to have you. And even though you're being taken away from me, I'll ways be grateful for the fact that I had you, and I had a chance to love you." He said.

"If anything you're a gift from our Divine creator. You're everything I needed. Without you I wouldn't know how to love. My parents would have never been my parents. I would have still been that reckless idiotic teen. You came in my life with your Zevy ways and it would aggravate me so I would get pissed. Then I had found out that we were destined to be mates and I... I was so scared to tell you. So I didn't. We had gotten involved in the war and everything and it was just crazy. I fell in love with you long before we mated though. I would tell myself that there's nothing there but there always was.... Now look at us. 7 kids and a huge pack with one Alpha two Betas and a fading Female Alpha." I chuckled.

"We should tell the kids." Zev said softly. "We should tell the pack."

"It'll be too devastating." I said.

"They need to know." Zev said. "These people love you. And if you just vanished one night and never came back they would think something happened to you, all hell would break loose and everything you worked for would just disappear." Zev said. He had a point.

"Can we tell the kids first?" I asked quietly. "Then my parents, then the guys, then the rest of the pack." he slipped his hand in mine and squeezed.

"Of course." he said softly. "How much longer do you think you have?"

"I'm getting weaker and weaker at an exponential rate. I might not last the rest of this week." I frowned. Zev shut his eyes and exhaled slowly. Taking deep breaths.

"Then let us inform everyone now before your sickness gets the best of you." Zev said and got up and got dressed. I did the same and looked in the mirror. You could start to see that I'm ill. I frowned and held Zev's hand as we walked downstairs. We sent out for our kids and waited for them all to arrive.

"Hey mom, hey dad. What's up?" Hunter asked.

"Yeah is there something wrong?" Jace asked.

"Just sit down and relax." I chuckled softly. "Your father and I have some news to discuss."

"Is it a new baby on the way?" Isis asked happiness dancing in her eyes.

"Just listen Isis, honey." Zev said.

"You all know the story of Female Alpha's right?" I asked they all nodded. "I am the Female Alpha, and I've been around for quite some time. I used to be Human somewhat. Then I met your father who was... young and silly. Your father's parents... sadly didn't live to see their son past his 10th birthday. They were killed in battle. So that's why you only have one set of grandparents. Anyway. By me being a Female Alpha, I had an objective as I came here. I was to restore peace to the WereWorld and learn to love someone." I said.
