A/N: Kso, I had decided maybe the whole interval of chapters 30-39 shouldn't be sad. SO I changed it up and made this one.... the last of it's kind. Enjoy.

Just My Luck, Stuck With The Alpha.
Chapter Thirty-Eight
(Twelve Months Later)
All of the color had drained from me. I no longer had color. If I was ever a color, I'm now a shade. I'm gray. I look ill and weak. I'm extremely fragile and I can't move like I used to. I can't even make it to my room anymore. I've been permitted to stay with Zev. I'm extremely skinny now. My breathing sucks. I feel like I'm dying. But the suffering has been extended to no end. I'm suffering such a horrible death. Why can't it just be easy?
-Zev's POV-
I've remembered so much in such little time. The part that sucks the most is that I don't know who Silver is mated to. And Uriel refuses to tell me. I know everything. I know about my friends I know about my family, I know about the war, I know about Liam, I know everything. But for some odd reason I cannot remember who Silver was mated to.
"What are you thinking about, Zev?" Uriel asked.
"Silver Royale." I said. He chuckled. I looked at him confused. "What's so funny?"
"Nothing." He said.
"Do you have any scenes with Silver and her mate or something?" I asked with hope in my voice. Uriel started to shake his head at first.
"Wait... I think I do." He said. He closed his eyes and thought. "AH-HA!"
Everything around us began to turn black. Then we were brought to a new scene. It was in the woods, there's a lot of teepee's around and people inside of them. It was dark outside, and some people were cuddled up with their mates at a campfire. Others were asleep in their tents.
I remember this... this was right before we attacked the Ice Pack. The Royale's were with us and we had decided it'd be a great idea to stay here and camp out because we knew exactly what the Ice Pack would do. They'd go after our homes. So, camping out was a great idea and that's exactly what we had done.
I looked around the area and saw her frame outlined by the light in her tent. She looked like she was debating with herself. I stared at her beautiful frame and thought. How could someone so beautiful... exist? Her beauty is definitely sacred. She walked outside her tent and contemplated with herself before heading off to another tent. She stayed outside of it for a little while before being let in. The tent was closed once she was in.
The person whoever was in the tent was talking to Silver at first, but then they were both brought together in a passionate kiss. I felt my heart thump in my chest. I really, truly have feelings for this girl.
-Uriel's POV-
Staring at the scenery I knew this would be it. It'd be the last puzzle piece that he would need to complete his memory. The fact that Silver is his mate. That's all he needs to know and then we all are released from this horrible burden. Zev has been out for a long time... if he doesn't figure it out in a few minutes then Silver's going to be gone.
Time is measured differently here. A minute in his coma can equal out to a hour in reality. Silver's been waiting on him for approximately 12 months. In a few minutes... it'll be over. Zev will forever be stuck in a coma and eventually die. Silver will die. Everything will be screwed. I won't ever be forgiven.
It'll be like murder if I sit around and let this happen. I stared at Zev and noticed the clenched fists at his sides. The jealousy in his face. In his eyes held the most love I've ever seen. I don't care that he's possessed by some dark spirit. Whether I like it or not, Zev is definitely in love with Silver. Sighing I stuffed my hands in my pockets and leaned against the tree.
In the image in front of me was the moment when the two first realized they were going to be together forever. Zev is a lucky guy. Silver is a lucky girl. The two of them are perfect. The two figures finally pulled away from each other. They both laid on one another and the night was still.
"I love you, Silver." I heard.
"I love you too, Zev." Silver replied. I dunno if Zev heard that or not. Looking at Zev his eyes were wide. I'm guessing he did.
-Silver's POV-
I felt the end nearing for me. I really did. I crawled under Zev's sheets and laid my head on his chest. I intertwined my fragile hands in his. A tear slid down my face. My body shook and I exhaled slowly. My eyes began to feel extremely heavy. There was a pull, pulling at me telling me to just go to sleep. I think I just might. Closing my eyes, I fell into oblivion.
-Zev's POV-
The final piece. I know who's mated to Silver. I KNOW! Now I can finally wake up! I turned to Uriel who didn't look too good. "Wait, what's wrong?"
"...I... I don't know." He said putting his hand on his head.
"Oh... well, I know who Silver is mated to, she's my mate." I said happily. He smiled wryly.
"Yeah. Now, you should be able to wake up." Uriel said proud of himself.
Looking at him, he was paler than usual. He was starting to look green.
"Are you sure you're ok?" I asked. He shook his head.
"I think something went wrong with Silver... you need to wake up." Uriel was starting to fade away.
"How?" I asked.
"Close your eyes and go to sleep." He said before disappearing. Panicking, I shut my eyes... I soon began to feel myself fall into a dream...
-Third Person-
Zev's eyes shot open and he took a deep breath. Silver's lifeless body remained on him. The sound of the heart monitor picked up. Soon, everyone was rushing in. Vex, the Doctor, Elliot, Cade, Slade, Rowan, all of Zev's friends found their way into the room to witness an awake Zev, and a dead Silver. Gasping in both surprise and horror they all took in the sight.
"Silver..." They all whispered.
"What?" Zev asked confused. He looked down at the beautiful, non moving girl and something inside of him churned. "Is she dead?"
"I think so."
