Just My Luck, Stuck With The Alpha.

Chapter Thirty

I woke up to the sound of something at my window. Freaking out in the slightest I made my way over to the window but that was before I took a glance at Silver to make sure she was perfectly fine. Not a hair out of place. I went to my window and peeped out through it. There was this guy I've never seen before just floating in the air looking completely impatient. He saw me and he looked confused. I opened the window and looked at the guy.

"Who the hell are you?" I asked. He smirked.

"You're her mate?" The guy asked. I nodded a low growl erupting from my throat. Careful not to awake Silver glared at the man.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"To come in obviously." He said bluntly. Narrowing my eyes at him I let a feirce growl erupt from me. There was a shuffle in the sheets from behind me which caused my heart to race. I hope I didn't wake her. Turning around briefly, she was still sleep. I turned to the guy who was supposed to be standing outside, he was no longer standing there. "Looking for me?" He asked amusement in his voice. Grumbling I turned and found him standing on the side of the bed where Silver slept.

"Who are you and how the hell did you do that?" I asked.

"Please do not use profanity around me, it's unholy." He said. I raised my brow.

"What are you? Some Angel?" I asked. He laughed and a bright aura came from him.

"All day everyday." He said. I gaped.

"But aren't you supposed to have like some freaking freakishly large white wings and a cape and--and a halo?" I asked stuttering.

"You read too many fairytales bud." He muttered and looked at Silver.

"What are you to her?" I asked.

"Uriel, her guardian Angel." He said watching her carefully.

"Do you always watch her?" I asked. He nodded and leaned up against the wall.

"I know everything that's going to happen within the next few weeks. But it's all I can truly see with her." He said. "She's different."

"Obviously." I mumbled.

"I mean... she's like... I dunno, maybe it's just cause she's a werewolf. Who knows." He said.

"So you're in here every night?" I asked.

"Yes." He said annoyed. "I thought we were passed this."

"Why are you so hostile towards me?" I asked.

"Because you're gonna steal her innocence from her." He said glaring at me.

"We're mates, it's bound to happen." I said.

"Not when someone as dark as you is doing the taking." He muttered. "I wish I could see a light in you. But you're shielded by blind trickery."

"And that's supposed to mean?" I asked.

"It means, that there's someone out there who has you under their spell. It's what's making you so dark. Once that person is either dead or gone... you'll be able to realize your true strengths." He said. "And when that happens, I will give you the sign for you to marry and... mate with Silver. Until then you are to keep your thoughts off of how lovely she looks without clothes." I put my hands up in surrender.

"Whatever floats your boat." I said, he glared.

"What are you trying to get at?" He snapped.

"I just want my mate to be happy, and if keeping you happy will make her happy then I'll follow your rules happily. I promise." I said. He turned his head and headed to the window.
