Chapter Forty-One
As we were walking downstairs there were a lot of different voices, saying different things. I wonder who's all here...
"Hey, who's all here?" I asked.
"Everyone you both know." Vladdy said. I furrowed my brow.
"What? Everyone I know can't possibly be here." I said. "Some of them are human, and some of the others have disappeared off the face of the continent."
"When I said everyone you both know, I meant everyone you both know... in a positive way." He said. Something has to be wrong. We walked downstairs and there everyone was. Exactly like he said.
"Welcome back!" They all shouted. I smiled and grabbed Zev's hand. I looked up at him and he looked down at me.
"WOOOH! ZEV AND SILVER!" Some of the pack screamed. I laughed I flashed my best smile.
"Ok, ok, ok. Hello everyone." I said still smiling.
"Hello? Seriously Silver? These are friends and family! What's up everybody?!" Zev asked. Everyone gave woots and cheers. I rolled my eyes and nudged him in the rib. He pulled me to his chest and laid a kiss on my head. "I still love you." I smiled.
"I know you do." I snickered. I turned to everyone. "Well, we're here. And I'm assuming you guys planned some sort of surprise party? If this is true then let's party!"
While we were walking through the crowd and whatnot people would give us hugs and compliments and thoughts and cards saying 'Get Well Soon'. Jesus, Zev's not sick. He just needs to restore his memory. And some of his memory he doesn't even want. My friends ran up to us, Jess and Melisa jumped me with hugs.
"WHOO! SHE'S STRONG AGAIN!" Jess said. I laughed remembering the last time she did that, how she almost broke a bone in me.
"Yes, I'm strong again." I said. "Thanks to Zev." I winked back at him. Rodney and Kevin had walked up with their hands casually in their pockets. I could tell they felt awkward. "Hey, kids." I said my hands on my hips.
"Who're you calling the kid?" Rodney asked pulling me in for a hug. I chuckled.
"You guys." I said.
"Hey Zev, do you remember us?" Melisa asked curious.
"Of course." He said. "You're Melisa, he's Kevin, Rodney and Jess." Zev said. I smiled.
"Sweet! He does remember! See, I knew you didn't have anything to fear, Silver." Jess said nudging me. I chuckled a little.
"I remember everyone else, not Silver." Zev said sadly. I raised my brows at them.
"See..." I said. Then I turned to Zev. "But it's perfectly fine." He grinned.
"Definitely."
"Oooh, I see you two getting sexy, sexy!" Jess said wiggling her brows at me. I rolled my eyes.
"Leave our sex life out of it." I said my chin up.
"Jesus, sorry for being a human female." She said putting her hands up in surrender. I laughed and shook my head.
"You guys are ridiculous."
"Yeah, well, we got it from the best." Kevin said.
"True, true, and true. Now go have a blast!"
The next people to walk up to us were my parents. Topaz and Aqua. I enveloped them both in hugs before they could say anything.
"Mom, dad." I said. "I'm glad you're here. You don't know how bad I wish I had you guys here." They both frowned.
"I know, and we haven't been able to be within distance with you both. If we would have known then we would have came to support and help you through it." Mom said. I frowned a little.
"I know, it would have been easier to deal with, with you guys here."
"And we're sorry." Dad said.
"It's ok, besides I didn't know where you guys had went so it's not like I could have just sent a messenger to you." I said shrugging. "But that's not what matters, what matters is that you guys are here, and me and Zev are both alive. That's what matters." My parents smiled.
"We wanted to just say that you are doing an amazing job, the both of you... but when are you two going to completely mate and have our grandchildren? We're not going to live forever you know." Dad said. I blushed bright red and Zev gripped my waist.
"In soon time, when she's ready we will." Mom smiled.
"You are such a gentleman. Well, we should probably go and let everyone else say what they want to say." Then they walked off.
Throughout the night people came up to us and talked for some time then they'd leave us be. Once it was all over me and Zev danced. Although it was a fast pacing song we danced slow. At that moment I realized that we've been moving too fast with things, and that it's great that Zev decided to take things slow. I burrowed my face in Zev's chest and we danced the night away.
Once the song was over he lifted my face to his. "Let's go outside, it's beautiful tonight." He smiled genuinely. I smiled also.
"Let's go then." hand in hand we walked outside in the semi-chilly night.
He laid down in the grass and pulled me down with him. We both looked up at the stars and sighed. This was beautiful. "It's very beautiful, Zev." I said smiling. He kissed my head.
"Good." He said and rubbed little circles with his thumb on my back. I sighed in content. I was fine right here, without and fires, without any pain, without any fear. Just right here with my mate.
Somehow in the middle of just looking at the laminated sky we began to kiss each other which caused other people to look at us. Then on the balcony and everywhere else people were just screaming and cheering us both on.
"Whoa! Silver and Zev! IN THE GRASS?! GET SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEE!" I heard all the guys say. Chuckling a little I shifted a little and positioned myself above Zev.
"If you don't stop doing what you're doing we might just put on a show for everyone." Zev warned me pulling away some.
"It's not like you'll mind, babe." I winked my hair covering us both. He chuckled and put his hands on my hips. He rotated us both and was now above me.
"You're right, I wouldn't mind... but I want you to be extremely special for me. Therefore I'm going to make it extremely special for you." He said sweetly. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"You're already special enough." I said. He chuckled and shook his head.
"Come on, we're creating a movie." I looked up and everyone was watching intently. We both got up, dust ourselves off and glared at everyone watching us.
"Thanks for ruining the romantic moment for us both." I said. Everyone scurried away.
The night was over, we were exhausted so Zev and I decided to go to bed. I opened the door from out of the bathroom and crawled into bed next to Zev and cuddled.
"Tomorrow, I'm taking you to the mall." I looked at him.
"But there's a ton of humans there." I said, he shrugged.
"We could be by some humans. Not an issue. Tomorrow, the mall."
