Just My Luck, Stuck With The Alpha.

Chapter Forty-Nine

.:Silver's POV:.

It's been weeks since I've seen Zev. And I really, really, miss him. Nothing's the same. Kevin and Rodney really want me to talk to him, but I never feel comfortable enough. It's just not something I actually look forward to doing. Well, I shouldn't say that because I really want to. Gah, it's just so hard to explain. Part of me really wants to see him, the other part wants to forget he had ever existed.

But we all know I could never forget the one man who made me feel complete.

Kevin walked in the room and sighed. "Someone's at the door for you." I raised my brow.

"Why would anyone be here for me?" I mumbled. Kevin snickered.

"I dunno, you should actually see who it is." He said. I gave him a mysterious look.

"If' you're up to something I'll find out. And you know I'll tear you to shreads." I warned with a dangerous glare. He chuckled and ran a hand through his hair.

"Honestly, I'd rather you kill me than leave me to suffer with seeing you like this." He muttered and walked out the room. I sat there for a few minutes taking in what he had said. That's pretty deep when you think about it. Groaning I sighed and went downstairs to see three people I honestly could and couldn't miss. Anger boiled up inside me.

"Do you want to die?" I growled lowly.

.:Cade's POV:.

Ever since Silver had run off, Zev blocked everyone out from everything. It was quite sad in fact. We couldn't get any information out of him. Which was really bugging me because that's all we wanted. To get some sort of information out of him so we can actually make progress and go visit Silver tell her what really happened and have her forgive him.

But none of that'll happen if Zev won't open up. I got up and banged on his door.

Silence.

I banged again.

Silence.

"Dude, Zev if you don't open this damn door right now I'll break it down." I warned my patience wearing thin. Suddenly the door opened. There stood a gross looking Zev. I mean, I'm not homosexual or anything but I've seen better days of Zev.

"What do you want." He snapped standing in the doorway.

"I want information. Now either you can let me in willingly and tell me, or I'll have to break all rules and force it out of you." I said as calm as I could. He thought about it for a second. Probably weighing his options. With a grunt he left the door and sat back on the bed. I walked in and exhaled in relief. I did not want to have to break my oath. Because after all of this was said and done, I'd have to be murdered for abusing my oath.

I sat down on the bed across from Zev scrunching my nose up in disgust. "The hell Zev, your room smells like shit."

He glared then his gaze softened sadness writing novels in his gaze. "I know, I'm sorry." his voice was raspy. "But I feel weak and lifeless without her. I don't even know why she..." His voice cracked. He closed his eyes and exhaled slowly.

"She mentioned something about you cheating on her. You mentioned something about some weird dream that felt real but wasn't real. Are you sure it wasn't a sorceress playing mind games?" I asked.
