Just My Luck, Stuck With The Alpha.
Chapter Fifteen:
I shook my head. No. I can't. "No." I said avoiding anyone's gaze. My dad came over to me and rested a hand on my shoulder.
"I didn't choose this for you. You know I didn't." He said softly.
"I know." I said. "I just.... I don't even know the guy." Dad just chuckled.
"Mates always know mates." He sighed. "You know, we don't have to talk about mates or anything right now at the moment... it can wait."
"I'm fine dad. Royale's are born strong. Just because some annoying arrogant guy is my mate doesn't mean it'll falter me." I said. "I will join your pack and take the place as Alpha." Everyone clapped and cheered.
"I believe we should celebrate then my daughter." Dad said embracing me in a hug. "You've always been special to me."
"Cause I'm Alpha?"
"No, cause you're strong." He said. I stood up.
"Um..." I started then I thought. "When are we celebrating?" I asked.
"Tonight." He said. I thought.
"Who's gonna be here?"
"Why friends and family." Dad said. "Why?"
"Oh... nothing." I said grinning deviously. He looked at me then he grinned.
"I get it."
"Like Father like daughter." One of the men in the meeting said.
"In this case, I would gladly like to go and invite the Rhyne's to see me becoming the Alpha of the Royale pack." I said.
"She'll be a handful for her lovely mate."
"Oh, my mate can handle me. He's handled me well enough." I said.
"This'll be an interesting mate to mate relationship."
Of course it will. It's me and a guy I can't stand. OBVIOUSLY it'll be interesting.
"Well, dad, I'll be going..."
"By vehicle or wolf?" I thought. I haven't been on a run in a while, and I wouldn't be able to track where Zev's place was unless I was in my wolf form.
"I'm going wolf." I grinned.
I set off-not alone-back to Zev's place. Vladdy is always on my wing. Seriously, I mean not that I mind his presence. I do, he brings the adventure to my life. I wanted to go by myself but you know Vladdy, he doesn't trust anything that I do.
'I do trust what you do; it's just not safe all the time. I wouldn't want you hurt.' Vladdy said intruding my thoughts.
'EXCUSE ME SIR! BUT I NEED YOU TO EVACUTATE OUT MY MIND!' I yelled. 'But before you leave, explain to me how you did that?'
'Just think.' He said. 'When you're in wolf form you can communicate with other wolves. It's not very hard just speak with your mind instead of your lips.'
'I hate that you're such a pro on wolves.' I chuckled.
'I just know my kind, darling.' The run to the Rhyne's territory wasn't as long as the drive was... maybe because we're in wolf form and wolves run faster than vehicles. Hehe, I dunno if that's a true fact but I think it is. The only problem was... I had no clothes with me to wear. So I'm staying in wolf form until I get to the room I was held in. Zev, Xerin, Cade, Slade, Sinn, and Kelliot came outside. Zev looked at me first.
