A/N: I made this one longer, I think. Or at least tried to... enjoy.

Chapter Thirty-Five
(Four-Five Months Later: Christmas/New Year)
-Silver's POV-
Zev's still sleep. Today I'm all alone. It's Christmas and everyone's celebrating the happiness and stuff. And the only happiness I can find is in this room next to my mate. I couldn't ask for anything more than him. There was a knock at the door. I turned and looked, my friends were at the door with presents in their hands. I tried to pull my lips back to smile but it was never worth it. Managing a weary smile I looked at the boys.
"Merry Christmas?" They said uncertain. That put a smile on my face, but it lasted only a few seconds.
"Come in." I said shaking my head. "Zev could use your company." I sighed.
"Hey, hey, hey, he's going to wake up. He is. Just because he's been out for four almost five months doesn't mean he's not going to wake up." Kelliot said patting my back.
"I know, but still, what if he doesn't wake up for another 6 years? I'll be dead by then." I said holding back tears. There was silence. "See--"
"Zev will be back. He won't leave you to yourself. I know he won't, we all know he won't. Just because he's in a coma doesn't mean that he'll let us all down. Yes, he may take a while to get out of the coma but he won't desert you for 6 years. Nevertheless 3." Slade said. Surprised by that I turned and looked at Zev.
"Maybe. Maybe you're right. But it's hard. I mean, it's hard because everyday I live in a cold dark world. Yeah, I could probably act the same way I did before I found out I even had a mate but it's not easy when you're marked, it's not easy when you come downstairs from your room every morning to see the person mated to you, asleep, in a deep dream like state of mind, in a coma. It's not easy going to sleep at night because you fear you could possibly never wake up. If he doesn't wake up, I'm going to die." Sympathetic faces filled the room.
"Yeah, you're right. It's possible." Vladdy said. "Life is hard for you. Very hard. I won't tell you I understand cause I don't. And hopefully I won't. Zev has been my best friend since I was an orphan--"
"YOU WERE AN ORPHAN?!" I asked surprised. Vladdy chuckled a little and scratched his head.
"Haven't you noticed? I never talk about my parents? It's because I never had any. Well, maybe I should tell you my life story. It's very short. I was born. But I wasn't... like normal kids. I didn't wake up in the arms of my parents. I was at the step of an Orphanage. With humans. I don't know what my parents were, but I think they were Rouges. It's the only thing that makes sense. Rouges tend to hang around with humans without any problems. So I grew up in an Orphanage. But everyone knew I wasn't normal. When I was 5 years old, I lost control. I don't know what ticked me off so badly but I lost control. It was a massacre. Who knew a 5 year old pup could do so much damage to an Orphanage?" He chuckled without humor. "That day, the news must have gotten out to The Rhyne's and the Royale's because within a matter of minutes both packs were there. Originally I was supposed to be killed. But Zev spoke up. I remember he had said that killing me would only make them as bad as me. He said that he could teach me how to belong in a pack. Both your father and Zev's thought about it. They made an agreement. Me and Zev would work together, but there would be security watching over the both of us just in case I lost my temper and tried to kill anyone else. But that exact day, Zev spoke the words himself that we'd be best friends no matter what. I witnessed it all, the battle... everything. Even after the death of both of his parents Zev still kept our friendship. We grew up together, and we've been friends for the longest. I have faith in him Silver. He's a strong guy. He's been through more crap than anyone I've ever known. He can tough this one out. And I know he'll do it for you. He really loves you even though he doesn't say it as much as he should. But if I have faith in him you should too. I know you're weak. I know. But just stay by his side. I know being in this room with him gives you a touch of strength. Just keep faith." Vladdy said.
And at that moment I realized I can make it through. Zev has been through worse than I have. And he's in a coma. I should be able to tough it out.
-Zev's POV-
I followed Uriel somewhere, he refused to tell me exactly where we were going. And I stopped asking. If anything I didn't want to get on his bad side. He finally stopped in front of some house like structure. It looked familiar.
"Wait, is this what I think it is?" I asked Uriel. He turned and looked at me.
"What do you think it is?" He asked.
"My packhouse." I said.
"Yes and no. It's a packhouse. But it's not Rhyne territory." Uriel said.
"Then who's territory is it?" I asked.
"You'll see." Uriel said. The front door opened and out walked the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. She walked to the backyard.
"Follow her." I said. Uriel chuckled.
"Do you know who she is?" He asked.
"No. Do you?" I asked.
"I know who she is, but I can't tell you. You have to figure it out. You have to figure everything out on your own." Uriel said.
"Can we follow her?" I asked. He nodded.
"Go for it." I ran after her looking in the backyard. There were a lot of people. But I could spot her amongst them all. She was walking to a group of guys. I got... jealous. She was smiling and laughing with the guys and they were just staring at her and making her laugh. I was really jealous.
"She's a werewolf?" I asked.
"She's a Female Alpha." Uriel said. I looked at him confused.
"There's a such thing as a Female Alpha?" I asked. He nodded.
"It happens every 10 centuries. And she's mates with someone of your pack."
"Oh." I mumbled. "Well what's her name?"
"I can't tell you that."
"What pack is she in?" I asked.
"Royale." He said. I saw her look in my direction and met with her silver eyes. Such a Silver Royale.
"Well, in the mean time, I'll call her Silver Royale."
