He chuckled pero umiling. "You are not stupid, Baby. You are just young."
"That, too. Young, stupid, restless."
He hugged me tight and kissed my lips again. Inihiga niya ako sa couch. "Don't ever leave me again," he whispered.
I shook my head. "Never."
He stared at me while swallowing. "You promised?"
"I will marry you, Baby." First time I called him that, and it felt good. "Can I go to school on Monday?"
He laughed unbuttoning my satin shirt. "It is vacation, Babe. And my graduation ceremony is a month after the wedding."
"Oh!" Pero bakit pumayag silang magbakasyon ako? Maybe because I am exempted from all the upcoming exams?
"You forgot about the date?" he asked unhooking the front clasp of my bra.
"I forgot about living. I missed you terribly."
"Paano kung hindi kita nahanap?"
"Ewan ko. Baka mamatay na lang din ako in time."
Niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit. "God! Annie, you almost killed us both with that stunt."
Tumulo ang luha ko. "Nahiya akong bumalik baka hindi mo na ako tanggapin. I don't know what to do next. Ayaw ko nang mag-isip. I was sorrowful and trashy."
"You will never be trashy and I won't stop until I find you."
I circled my hands in his hard body. "Salamat. Thank you for finding me." It is useless to talk and go back to the times that I never want to go back to. We both need to move on. "Gusto ko ng maraming babies."
