Chapter 15

They arrived home, Jin and Jungkook still looked awkward with each other after the kiss at the bus stop earlier.

"How was your dinner?" Jungkook's mother said

"Good" they answered in unison and looked at each other.

"I'm going to the room first" they said together again, making Jungkook's mother laugh. Jungkook entered the room first and Jin discouraged him from entering the room. It felt really awkward if they were in the same room after that scene.

"What's wrong with you guys? Is it really cold outside? Why are your cheeks so red" Jungkook's mother smothered Jin's cheeks.

"No eomma, we're fine"

"Tell me, what's the boss like, is he married? Is he old? Why did he ask Jungkook to have dinner with him?"

"I think he's the same age as Jungkook, they look close, it seems he's not married, he just came alone and he thought Jungkook also came there alone, he was quite surprised to see me coming with Jungkook"

"Aish, that means that guy is trying to seduce Jungkook, he's so sneaky" Jin was silent.

"What's wrong with your face? Why do you look sad?"

"I'm okay eomma"

"Take a shower first, then rest, you must be tired" Jin just nodded and headed for Jungkook's room, he knocked on the door before entering and opening the door to his room.

"I want to take a shower" Jungkook nodded. For some reason he remembered the incident at the restaurant earlier, when Hoseok held his hand and his gaze was very deep on Jungkook. Jungkook also said they would talk in the office. Talk that Jin didn't understand.

Jin came out of the bathroom and went towards the door to get out.

"Where are you going?"

"I'll sleep in the living room, it won't be comfortable if we sleep together"

"Then I'll just sleep outside."

"No, it's okay, I'll just sleep outside" Jin rushed out of the room and lay down on the sofa until he fell asleep.

And he felt his body being lifted and when he opened his eyes, Jungkook brought him back to the bed and tucked him in.

"You can get sick if you sleep on the couch without a blanket" Jungkook smiled.

"Hmm"

"Just Sleep." Jungkook kissed Jin's forehead and lay beside him.

"What time is it?"

"It's still 2 am, just sleep" Jin nodded, his eyes were very heavy and he fell asleep immediately.

The next day, Jungkook wakes up and sees Jin not in his bed, he remembers last night he brought Jin back to the room, was he dreaming? He came out of the room and did not see Jin in the living room.

"Eomma.. where is Jin?"

"Jin? He hasn't come out of the room yet"

"He's not in the room"

"What?" Jungkook returned to the room and was surprised when Jin opened the bathroom door.

"Jeez Jin! Why don't you turn on the water if you in the bathroom?"

"Huh? I turned on the water, didn't you hear? What's wrong? Why do you look panicked like that?"

"Forget it" Jin held Jungkook's hand.

"Jungkook"

"Hmm"

"What was the meaning of our kiss yesterday?"

"Huh?"

"What did that kiss mean to you?"

"That's just a kiss Jin, earthlings always do that." Instantly Jin's heart ached, as if someone was squeezing it.

"Ahh, yeah it was just a kiss" Jin went out of the room. Leaving Jungkook speechless and cursing himself for saying such stupid things.

After Jungkook took a shower, he saw an incoming message on his phone, it was from Jimin.

From Jimin : Jungkook can we meet at the Han river now, I want to talk to you, just the two of us, I'm waiting for you

Jungkook changed clothes and came out of the room, Jin and his mother were confused because Jungkook was ready as if he wanted to go.

"Where are you going?"

"Eomma, I have to go, I have things to take care of" Jungkook didn't even look at Jin and just walked away.

Not long after that the bell rang. His mother rushed to open the door and it was Taehyung.

"Hi Mrs Jeon"

"Hey handsome, come in, Jungkook just left, there's only Jin"

"I really want to meet Jin, I don't care about Jungkook" his mother just laughed and told Taehyung to come in.

"Tae.." Jin hugged him tightly.

"Hi my Jinnie"

"Have you had breakfast?" Jungkook's mother said.

"Yes Mrs. Jeon, I miss you Jin, I want to take you out for a walk, you must be bored at home right?" Jin nodded.

"Can I ask Jin out Mrs. Jeon?"

"Of course you can, he must be bored at home with me"

"Eomma, I'm not bored because I'm at home with you, you can come with us"

"No, just go, you also need refreshing"

They went aimlessly until finally Jin took Taehyung to go to the Han river and they went there.

They took a walk by the river while eating ice cream and chatting until Jin's footsteps stopped.

"What's wrong Jin?" Taehyung looked into Jin's eyes and they saw two people they knew

"What is Jungkook and.."

"Jimin" Jin said.

"Why are they here?" Jin held Taehyung's hand when he wanted to approach them both.

"Don't"

"Why?"

"Just don't" Jin's eyes didn't leave the two of them, they got up from the chair and hugged, not only that, Jin saw Jimin kissing Jungkook's lips, Jin's heart suddenly hurt, he turned his body and unconsciously his ice cream fell to the ground.

"Jin, what's wrong?"

"Tae, I want to go home" Jin left from there with his chest feeling tight, his heart hurt so much. But when he was almost in front of Taehyung's car, he fell and Taehyung immediately came to him.

"Jin.. oh shit, your nose.. your nose is bleeding again" Jin rubbed his nose and tried to get up.

"Jin your body is so cold, Jin what should I do?"

"Tae, please take me anywhere as long as I don't come back to Jungkook's house, I don't want his mother to worry, please"

"Okay let's go" Taehyung helped Jin into the car and turned on the heater.

"Tae.."

"Hmm"

"Don't tell Jungkook about this."

"Why?"

"He doesn't need to know about this, please promise me not to tell this to Jungkook"

"Jin, he should know"

"No, he doesn't have to know, please"

"Okay, I promise"

"I just want to go home" Jin cried and looked out the window.

"Jin, please don't say it like that, I don't like to hear it, this is your home"

"No, this is not my place, I don't like being here, I just want to go home, I miss my parents"
