Chapter 28

Jungkook and Taehyung returned home, they saw his mother crying with the broken pendant in front of her. Jungkook and Taehyung immediately went to his mother, Jungkook hugged his mother with tears.

"Eomma, I'm sorry, this is all my fault, I should have taken care of him, I should have protected him so that he would live, I'm sorry, it's my fault, it's my fault eomma"

"Why so soon? Why? My son.. why did he have to go? Why did he leave me, he promised to stay here if there was no way back, he promised me Jungkook" His mother kept whining in Jungkook's arms. The pain they felt together, the loss of someone who meant a lot to them.

A week passed, Jungkook still locked himself in his room. Every night he does the same thing, stares out the window, looks up at the sky and hopes for a miracle to come. Like Jin always does.

"Baby.. please come back to me, I'm waiting for you here, please baby I love you" tears kept running down Jungkook's cheeks, his eyes were swollen and red, he had been crying for days. His cheeks are never dry.

His mother came in with Jungkook's favorite soup. He placed it on the table and approached his son.

"Jungkook.. don't be like this, you will get sick if you continue like this, Taehyung comes every day to see you, meet him, he is also worried"

"Eomma.. why isn't this fair? Why did he leave me? He should be waiting for me to come back, I'll explain everything, he asked me when we were going to get married and I ignored him, stupid me, I was shocked by his question, of course I want to marry him, I really want to marry him, eomma, bring  him to me, please" Jungkook kept crying looking out the window.

Day after day he did the same thing, he kept kissing the pillow that Jin always slept on. The smell still lingers there.

"Jin, come back to me, please, what should I do to get you back?"

Every evening he always came to the Han river, the place where he found Jin, hoping he would find him there again. Staring at the river with tears rolling down his cheeks. His heart ached. He hasn't come to work in days, he's so sick of his boss.

After the sun set, Jungkook left from there, he walked towards his house. His steps were getting heavier when he knew he had to return to the house filled with memories. He was standing in front of his door. He took a deep breath before getting into it.

"Eomma, I'm home" He continued to walk into his room and locked the door.

"Jungkook, dinner is ready, you have to eat"

"I'm not hungry, I'll just go to sleep"

The same thing is not only felt by Jungkook but also by Jin. He said that in Aristella there is only peace and happiness, but why when he comes back he only feels sadness. Was it because he remembered what happened that night? The photo that broke his heart to pieces?

Jin was on the riverbank not far from his house. The house where he lived was not the same as it used to be. After the war, many buildings were destroyed and the population there also became very small. He heard footsteps coming towards him, he turned his head and it was his mother.

"What are you thinking about?" His mother sat beside Jin.

"I just look at the moon, think nothing"

"Don't lie to me, did you think about that guy, what's his name? Ahh Jungkook right?"

"He disappointed me mom, people on earth are not like us, they don't value love, they like to hurt others, love seems like it has no price for them"

"What if he didn't mean to do that?"

"But I saw everything mom, he did it with that guy" Jin looked down and cried, his mother took Jin in her arms.

"Are you crying about it? Why? In Aristella there is nothing sad except when we face death, why are you crying?"

"It hurts so much mom"

"Jin, you know, if you can't be with him, you can still be happy, here in Aristella, the place where you should be, this place will always make you happy and feel no pain anymore, soon you will meet your mate in Tethan, you will live happily"

It was strange to hear that, Jin knew everything his mother said was true, but he didn't want it all. He has no friends there, he only has his mother. Isn't that all he wants? Back to Aristella and met his mother, but why when he came back he felt even more lost.
