once yeonjun was gone, soobin felt the hole in his heart open up again, that hole in his heart was in the shape of yeonjun. his heart was filled with love, joy, happiness when they were together, but once he was gone, the hole deepened and his life became terrible again. because in reality, his life was shit, and the hole couldn't always be full. it was the harsh truth that he had to accept.
but soobin didn't want to except it. he's just happy that he got to share a kiss with yeonjun. thinking back to it made him smile, but he wasn't smiling from happiness it was more like a smile of sadness. his eyes teared up as he read over his note again, making sure it was perfect, just for yeonjun.
the words 'i'm so sorry' kept on repeating through his brain. he felt guilty that yeonjun would be left on his own for the rest of his life. but he knew it was the best for both of them, he just couldn't take it anymore.
he needed an end.
he grabbed his phone from his pocket and scrolled through his camera roll. it was all pictures of yeonjun, some selfies of them both together. but he would just cross himself out, he couldn't stand his own ugly face. it made him feel insecure.

one time, yeonjun saw his camera roll and repeatedly reassured him that he was so pretty and handsome. but even that didn't help him, he thought the complete opposite. he was ugly, and he believed that no one could change his thoughts. they were set in stone.
tears were splatting on his phone screen, he wiped the screen with his hoodie sleeve.
he glanced at the top of the screen and saw the time '09:45' , it was getting closer to his birthday. he wanted to die before he was 18, he doesn't want to grow up. he never did. his biggest fear is growing old with no one caring about him. he wanted to die before he was fully considered an adult.
he went through his camera roll a little longer while smiling to himself. finally, he went to the messages app and went on the contact 'junnie<3'.
me: i'm so sorry yeonjun (delivered) 9:55pm
after sending the message, he turned his phone off and put it down on the table and then grabbed his love letter and made his way towards his bathroom in his bedroom.
