august 12th (the next day)

chloe's sleep was starting to get disturbed by the ringing of the house phone located in the kitchen. she got up slowly trying not to wake the teenager sleeping soundly beside her for the first time in hours.

after getting out of the room safely without a sound, she then quickly rushed down to the kitchen in her bed gown and pajamas and picked up the phone to stop the ringing.

"hello?" she answered, now she was more awake.

"are you the guardian that will take care of choi soobin, choi angela's son?" a woman's voice called from the otherside of the phone.

chloe's heart picked up a few places, after hearing the boy's name she didn't know if the news was going to be good or bad. she had to admit, after all that has been happening, her mental health has also been affected. it's stressful when your son has several mental breakdowns weekly over a boy that he loves who tried to kill himself and is now in the hospital. all she wants is for her son to be happy, she lives of his happiness.

"y-yes, i'm choi chloe. is there a problem ma'am?" she answered carefully, hoping she will get something good in return.

"there's no problem at all, it's actually great news! choi soobin, will be allowed to leave the hospital."

"w-what? that's great! when will he get to come?" she felt like crying, it was finally happening. she got to meet soobin for the first time and she can't even imagine how happy her son will be.

"you have to come to the hospital at 10, then you may take him home. but you will also have a meeting with his doctor talking about his new medications and the procedures you must go through to take good care of him. is that okay miss.choi?" the lady was speaking quite fast but it was easy for chloe to follow.

"th-thats okay, that's perfect! thank you so so much!" after the call ended, chloe couldn't help but jump up and down while flailing her hands like a teenage girl. she was delighted to know that soobin was coming home.

i should surprise yeonjun! he will be so happy! yes! yes! i'm going to bring soobin home then he will get so excited when he sees him. ahhh! i can't wait!

if someone saw chloe right now they would think she was crazy. her squeeling wasn't too loud because her hand was covering her mouth but she was so thrilled.

she made a little breakfast for herself then left some in the fridge for yeonjun before putting a little note on the fridge for her son just incase he didn't wake up before she left.

later at the hospital

chloe was sent into the room with soobin in it. he was sitting up looking out the window on the hospital bed. the presence of another person made soobin turn his head, his eyes were confused as to who the woman was.

"h-hi soobin." chloe started a conversation with the timid boy.
"who are you?" soobin asked without thinking twice, he did not have a single clue who the woman standing before him was.
"my name is choi chloe, and your mother asked me to take you in." she had been practicing what to say and how to phrase her words in the car the whole way there.
