He turns back to face me and I immediately drag out my dagger placing it in front of his throat. Unfortunately for me, he thought to do the same with his own silver dagger.
He looks in my eyes and smirks. "Well won't you look at that?" He says, not...

A day has passed since I last spoke to Diana and Zamora. During the journey Carl has only taken one break.
"I'll make sure to get you something as a thank you when I come back!" I yell.
Carl's neck is 50 feet long so he's quite far from me.
He huffs in response.
A couple hours later and the sun begins to set, thankfully I can see the shoreline up ahead meaning we have made it. Carl begins to lower himself in the water and the boat rocks a little one it's made contact with the ocean's surface.
He turns around and faces me. I gently pat his nose.
"Take care Carl, thank you for the ride." I smile.
Carl lowers himself back underwater and I see the shadow of his body turn back. I begin to row the rest of the day. Carl couldn't take me the full way because he would then be above water completely.
I make it to the docks near the shore and station the boat. I tie the rope around the pole and climb out.
I've been crammed into that small space for about three days now. One day of self-rowing and two days of Carl's help.
I walk through the forest line and get a few miles before setting up a camp and going to bed for the night.

Next morning I'm walking again when I hear the worst sound.
Can you guess?
Clink.
I turn to see a gnome peeking at me from behind a bush.
"You stay away, do not speak to me!" I yell, grabbing my dagger and pointing it at it.
They slowly raise their ceramic hands up in surrender. I narrow my eyes at it and begin to walk without taking my eyes off it.
I should have taken my eyes off because next thing I know, my foot gets caught under a root and I fall forward, rolling down yet another slope. Luckily it was just dirt and no mud to completely ruin my clothes.
