"I don't think she'll ask me that."
"How old are you?"
"22 years old, and you?"
"Where are you from?"
"Oh okay, I'm from New York. I was born and raised here."
"What creature are you?"
"Umm..."
Colby nods his head at me. "Good job. She probably won't ask the last one."
"Or the first one." I mutter.
Colby gets up from his spot on the floor. I hadn't moved from my spot on the couch and Colby sat down in front of me.
"Now let's plan out where you can take her." Colby says while pacing back and forth in front of me. "You two need to get food for sure. Then a fun activity."
"A restaurant and... do they have events here? Like how they hosted some at the castle in Pristine?"
Colby stops and turns to me. "Yes, they have carnivals, there's food and games."
"Is there one coming up?" I ask.
"There is one like every day, you just have to find one. I'll research one nearby at the library or something."
"You'll find them in books?"
"They have computers."
"Computers?"
"Machines like phones but bigger."
I nod my head and lay down sideways on the couch. "Can I take a nap?"
Colby sighs and nods. He goes over to the inflatable bed still leaning against the wall and tosses it in front of the couch where it was before. "You can lay down here if you want. Or you can use the bed in the room since the others are out."
"I'm good with this one." I say while rolling off the couch and onto the bed. "I wonder how the date is going."
Colby lays down next to me facing the ceiling and using his arm as a pillow. "Better be great. Nathan has been waiting for this day to come for years."
"That's crazy. He just stalked her?"
"I'd say, admire. Stalking is... extreme."
I nod and roll onto my stomach facing him. "They're probably eating somewhere fancy."
