He turns back to face me and I immediately drag out my dagger placing it in front of his throat. Unfortunately for me, he thought to do the same with his own silver dagger.
He looks in my eyes and smirks. "Well won't you look at that?" He says, not...

I wake up to a terrible alarm blasting in my ear and my head shoots up. I'm immediately aware of my surroundings and panic begins to set in.
'It wasn't a dream!' Celeste cries.
I quickly grab my pistachios and a bottle of water I took from the cafeteria yesterday and leave the office. I step out and automatically get pushed to the side by someone. I turn around and see the halls crowded with students.
Why so many?
I begin to walk with the group for a while and feel a hand around my arm pulling me to the side. I turn to look at the owner and see a small blonde girl with three guys around her all looking at me. "Who are you?" She asks.
"Scarlett." I answer, removing her hand around my arm.
She narrows her eyes before giving me a forced grin making her look in pain. "Well Scarlett, I'm Amanda. These are my best friends Dan, Dustin and Colt," she points to the guys behind her. "Are you new here?" She questions tilting her head.
"No."
"I would remember you if you weren't."
'We gotta go.' Celeste intervenes.
"I have to go." I tell blondie and turn around. She quickly grabs my arm again, her long pink nail digging into my skin. "Who are you?" She demands.
"Let her be Amanda," one of the guys behind her says. "She said she had to leave."
"She's not leaving Colt; we don't know who she is, and I know everyone in this school." Amanda responds. The guys behind her sigh and give me a sorry look. "Now, I demand you tell me who you are, or I'll report you to the principal. I'm not leaving without a fight, who are you?" She demands again.
'Without a fight?' Celeste smirked.
"Are weapons allowed in this fight? I just had one yesterday and my hands are sore." I say holding up my bruised knuckles.
The guys behind her look at my hand amused. "Oh, you want to fight?" Blondie says. "Let's go then!" She shoves her books to one of the guys and ties her hair up. I raise an eyebrow.
Okay then.
I hand my pistachios to Colt and... well that's it that's all I do. By now a small crowd has formed while blondie begins to take her earring off and kicking off her heels. "Weapons?" I ask.
She scoffs at me and smirks. "I don't need weapons but help yourself if you'd like. I know karate." She says stepping into a small circle that students have made.
I look at everyone and see them all watching excitedly. I hum and take out my dagger. The moment its visible, students begin to back up and blondie scoffs. "It's not real, nice try though."
I look to my side and see a cork board. I twirl my dagger and send it flying, lodging it into the wall.
Finally, students rush away and blondie pales. I grab my dagger and face her. Why is everyone scared? Have they never seen one before? How do the powerless humans train?
