I watch as Genevieve tells Rose to not freak out too much. Before she can finish speaking, she gets cut off. I walk in front of Rose and see her eyes open and glowing purple.

"What's going on?" I ask Genevieve.

Colby walks forward and looks at Rose's eyes. He glares at Genevieve. "What did you do to my angel?"

I place my hands on either side of Rose's face. "She's alright. She's just seeing some special people at the moment." Genevieve answers.

"It will take two minutes and she'll be back. She's completely safe, don't worry."

"If she isn't, I will hurt you, I don't care that you're the elderly, I hope you know that." I glare.

She smiles and nods. "Understood."

Why isn't my night vision working?

Why isn't my night vision working?

'Probably because I'm not a part of you.' Celeste whispers.

"You can still hear my thoughts?"

'Weird, I know.'

"Hi girls," Mom says. "I know this is weird but it's the only way I could communicate with you, Scarlett." She looks over at Celeste. "You weren't supposed to become your own wolf, but I thought, hey, why not."

'Thank you, mama,' Celeste bows her head. 'This feels awesome. Is this a dream?'

Mom shakes her head no. "It's Genevieve helping me." She turns to me. "I would tell you this in person, but you know I'm kinda dead so," She shrugs. "Follow me girls."

She turns around and walks into the dark hallway. If I don't have Celeste in my head, I don't have my heightened senses anymore. I'm just a witch like my mom.

'Too bad you don't know any spells.' Celeste snorts.

Mom leads us into another room. It has candles lighting up the entire thing, a bed against the wall, a shelf with books, and a small desk with random papers on top.

'This your room, mama?' Celeste asks.

"Yes, Celeste," my mom chuckles while sitting on her bed. "It's mine and Mason's."
