<< Fo? The Sun is rising up, should we land so we don't get spotted. Also carrying you around is putting strain on my back.>>

: In due time Toucannon, but not until we found a suitable perch. I will not have you land on a random boulder just for your convenience.

We need to blend in as you said, and more importantly, we need to figure out where Sid will most likely be, so we can cut him off.:

<< Well he's a grass pokemon right? Sooner ,or later, he's going to need water, so we'll just hang around a pond.>>

: That wouldn't be a bad idea, if we didn't spot 3 separate areas on this island with fresh water. How would we even narrow it down? What if it rains before he gets to one?:

<< Process of elimination? >> :Elaborate... : << W..well..uhh, he can't exactly climb, or jump high with that round stubby body of his right? So naturally there's no way he could reach that lake area deep in the forest.>>

: Ah yes, I remember the weird ruins we found. They didn't seem important to my own goals, so I noted the lake surrounding it more than the structure itself. However, the entrance to that area was simply hidden by tall grass.

He still could have stumbled in by accident, which is why we're stopping here to come up with a real plan. :  << Oh thank goodness, my wings have been getting tired, and I really need to preen them again. >>

: Your self grooming habits disturb me Toucannon. I would rather we focus on finding...:

Sid! Wait up, I'm starting to go blind here. (, Are you? The heat is not nearly as bad as it can be, and the sandstorms... Wait...where are the sandstorms? ,(

'" Oh that's right. At night there tend to be sandstorms, which makes it easier to get lost out here. Even when the sun rises, the sandstorms will persist for a few more hours, until the sun is past the half way point between the horizon, and the mid sky."'

-And you forgot to mention this why?-  (, What my annoying thorn in my side is trying to say is that we both forgot. I should have known better, and must express my sincerest apology for my lapse in judgement. ,(

-Look, we're fine now aren't we? Please lift your head before you embarrass yourself.- '" You don't understand Sid, something is definitely wrong here."' I'll say... How the heck does Absol not sweat out here with all that fur?

'" No not that you idiot! This is serious! There should be a sandstorm still going on right now. It's still too early for one to cease, but if you listen closely. Doesn't everything sound too quiet? "'

Well now that you mention it. Everything does seem a little still, and we're clearly being watched. To be bad we don't have a radar to look around with. '" Seriously?! Now is not the time to rub that in. We'll discuss that later. "'

- Something tells me that you won't have time. The pokemon here seemed to have suspected our arrival, but how? - (, We won't get answers here Sid, we need to push forward, but if I sense the faintest hint of a trap... ,(

*rumble, rumble* Oh, did you sense that one Absol? - Alex, I can feel that smugness from here.

Yes, Obviously. we felt that. - '" I didn't feel anything. "' I liked to think we both gave Ribrieen an enormous eye roll. You can fly!

(, This isn't good. Could this be an Ambush? Quickly, I know it will hurt a bit, but get onto the rocky ground up ahead. ,(  You're telling me. Why does it look so uneven? '" Oh boo hoo, you going to chicken out? Hurry up. "'

You're the one that doesn't need to walk. I mumbled. We ran to the rocky outcroppings just as the rumbling sand got closer.

Sid actually beat me to rocky area due to being lighter, and having longer feet that stopped him from sinking into the sand as much. I swear he could give Mr. Mime a run for it's money.
