Chapter 1 Lauren's POV
Run. Breathe. Inhale. Exhale. I looked to the person on my left as me and her were in a foot race for first place. The crowd roars loud as we get closer. Breathe. Breathe slow, but move your legs fast. I sped up, quicker, quicker. The sweat slides down my face like rain. There's the finish line. Run faster. I took off with everything I got, I couldn't hear anything, but my feet hitting the track. I passed the finish line as I heard not only my track coach cheer, but the whole ULCA stadium shake the place with feet stomping against the bleaches and cheers louder than a Miley Cyrus concert," YOU WON AGAIN LAUREN! YOU WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP!" I put my hands on my head catching my breath, my legs were weak and shaking. I did it. I won,"you're undefeated." I laughed still catching my breathe. "LAUREN BABY YOU JUST WON THE THIRD ONE!" I stood up straight with my hands on my hips, Jayden came running out to the track with his boyfriend Steve,"You have been at UCLA for 3 years now and have competed in the track finals all 3 years and have won ALL THREE YEARS!!" "I get it, 3 years Jayden." I said laughing. I'm almost a graduate at UCLA, I love it here so much. For the past years I have been here, my running has only gotten better. Almost my whole closet is filled with Nike sports wear and to be honest I don't mind at all. "Nice job." I looked to my left as Jake walked up to me. I nodded and quickly walked to the stand to receive my medal. Jake has had the biggest crush on me since I first arrived, I promised myself to never date anyone else again and just focus on my running...
