As Jaden was making his way through Seafoam Islands, he encountered a familiar foe.
Jaden: Team Rocket! What are you doing here?!
He saw that Team Rocket had two Pokemon in nets. They looked like a Lapras and a Dragonair, but they seemed different.
Grunt #1: Who's this?
Grunt #2: Some nosy trainer.
Grunt #3: We'll deal with him.
Grunt #4: We'll give you the chance to run away.
Jaden: Funny. I was just gonna give you the same option.
Grunt #3: Looks like we got a joker.
Grunt #4: We'll teach you a lesson. Go Rhydon!
Grunt #3: Go Golbat!
Jaden: Two-one huh? I can deal with this. Go Venusaur and Growlithe! Venusaur, use Power Whip on Rhydon and Growlithe, you use Heat Wave on Golbat!
Powerful vines emerged from the ground and made contact with Rhydon. A wave of heat made Golbat take damage.
Grunt #3: Don't back down! Use Air Slash!
Grunt #4: Use Earthquake!
Rhydon slammed it's foot on the ground and created a powerful earthquake. Golbat released air slashes at Venusaur.
Jaden: Growlithe, use Flamethrower to protect Venusaur!
A strong flamethrower destroyed the air slash. As Growlithe finished its move, it was affected by Earthquake.
Grunt #3: Golbat, use Screech!
Jaden: Growlithe, dodge and use Heat Wave!
Growlithe dodged the screech and released a wave of heat at Golbat. Golbat took a direct hit and was defeated.
Grunt #4: Rhydon, use Drill Run!
Jaden: Venusaur, use Skull Bash!
Venusaur and Rhydon charged at one another with power.
When the Pokemon collided, Rhydon came off worse and was defeated.
Jaden: Nice job, guys. Now, are you gonna leave as I warned you, or do you want more?
Grunt #2: We'll show you not to mess with Team Rocket.
Grunt #1: Yeah. That was just a warm-up. Go Raticate!
Grunt #2: Go Weezing! Weezing, use Toxic!
Grunt #1: Raticate, use Crunch!
Jaden: Venusaur, use Sludge Bomb on Raticate and Growlithe, you use Flamethrower on Weezing!
Venusaur fired a sludge bomb from the flower on it's back and Growlithe released a strong flamethrower at Weezing.
Team Rocket's Pokemon took direct hits and were defeated easily.
Grunt #1: Ah! No way!
Grunt #2: How'd we lose to a punk trainer like him?!
???: Because he's strong.
Everyone's attention turned to the person that spoke.
It was Cynthia.
Jaden: Cynthia?
Cynthia: Hi Jaden.
Jaden: What are you doing here?
Cynthia: I got word that Team Rocket were spotted here. And I figured you would be too. So, Team Rocket. Are you going to retreat?
Grunt #2: We are.
Grunt #3: But not because you told us.
Team Rocket retreated.
Jaden and Cynthia approach the Lapras and Dragonair. They removed the net.
Jaden: Woah!
Cynthia: Woah indeed.
Jaden: That's not the normal color of a Lapras and Dragonair right?
Cynthia: That's not. This is a discovery for the ages. A purple Lapras and a pink Dragonair.
Jaden: No wonder Team Rocket was here.
Cynthia: Right.
Jaden and Cynthia comforted the Pokemon. Jaden was comforting Lapras and Cynthia was comforting Dragonair.
Jaden: You're safe now, Lapras. Now go on. You're free now.
As Jaden was trying to set Lapras free, but it wouldn't. It kept rubbing it's head against him.
Jaden: What are you doing?
Cynthia: I think Lapras has taken a liking to you. It wants to go with you, it seems.
Jaden: Really? You want to go with me?
Lapras nodded it's head with a smile.
Jaden: Okay then. Go pokeball!
Lapras went inside the pokeball with ease and was caught quickly.
Jaden: A Lapras, and a purple one at that.
Cynthia: Well done, Jaden.
Jaden: What about you? Are you catching Dragonair? It seems to like you.
Cynthia: Maybe. But I didn't do anything. It was all you.
Jaden: It wasn't really. It was my Pokemon. Besides, it can probably sense how strong you are.
Cynthia: Maybe. But, it deserves to be free.
Jaden: Are you sure? I know how much you pink.
Cynthia: I'm sure. Go on now. Be free.
Dragonair, with sadness, dove into the water and swam away.
Jaden and Cynthia exited Seafoam Island and used Lapras to surf to Cinnabar Island.
After stopping Team Rocket again, Jaden met up with Cynthia again and caught a shiny Lapras.
They almost arrived at Cinnabar Island.
And the dream continues...
