After training together with his Pokemon, Jaden managed to evolve Turtwig into Grotle and they met up with Gardenia once again.
Gardenia: Well, well, well. I knew I was gonna see you again, but not this soon.
Jaden: We waste no time with gym battles. Besides, what are you doing here?
Gardenia: I was helping this lady.
The lady had a Chansey beside her.
Cheryl: Hello. I'm Cheryl. I ran into Gardenia after we got lost in this forest.
Gardenia: Cheryl said she's looking for Flower Paradise.
Jaden: Flower Paradise? I believe I've heard of it before, but most think it doesn't exist.
Cheryl: But I believe it does.
Cheryl pulled out a map from her pocket.
Jaden: So, what's the story?
Cheryl: The story is that there is a giant, never-ending field of flowers. It's so big that it's almost like an island. Full of bug and grass type Pokemon. Some are from other regions. If you venture far enough, you'll see an altar and up those steps, is Shaymin.
Jaden: Shaymin. Wow. Huh?
Gardenia's eyes were sparkling with joy.
Gardenia: Shaymin! Wow! Just to meet a legendary Pokemon like that is something a grass type enthusiast like me can only dream! We have to find it!
Cheryl: Well, it's easier said than done. My father left this map with barely any instructions as to where to start, except to look for "the queen and her followers."
Jaden: The queen and her followers?
Gardenia: What could it mean?
Jaden: Could it be referring to Vespiquen and Combee? As Vespiquen is similar to a queen and Combee are her followers?
Cheryl: It says follow the queen as she leads her followers to paradise.
Gardenia: So, all we need to do is find Vespiquen? That shouldn't be too hard.
Cheryl: I don't think it's going to be easy. It says once Combee have collected enough honey, Vespiquen will lead them to Flower Paradise as they are the first ones to arrive. Vespiquen and Combee travel at night so that they aren't seen by people.
Gardenia: So, all we need to do is find Vespiquen and wait until nightfall to follow.
Jaden: That probably sounds easier said than done.
Cheryl: But it's our best shot in finding the paradise.

After searching Eterna Forest for hours, they found Vespiquen.
Jaden: Guys, I found it.
Cheryl, Chansey and Gardenia hurried.
Cherly: Be quiet. Try not to make much noise as we don't want to scare it off.
Gardenia: So, all we need to do is wait until nightfall?
Cheryl: Yep.

Night came as everyone fell asleep, and Vespiquen and Combee were leaving their home.
Chansey woke up, spotted them leaving and hurried in waking up everyone.
Cheryl: Huh? Chansey, what's wrong?
Chansey was frantically pointing to the fleeing Vespiquen and Combee.
Cheryl: They're leaving? Come on, everyone. We can't fall behind.
Jaden, Arcanine and Gardenia left their slumber and chased Vespiquen and Combee.

After tailing the Pokemon, they somehow managed to lose them at the edge of the forest.
Gardenia: We've lost them? But how?
Cheryl: Where could they have gone? I don't understand. We shouldn't have lost them. We were in sight the entire time.
Jaden: Does the map say anything else?
Cheryl: No. Nothing. We lost our only chance.
Cheryl began to cry, so Chansey and Gardenia comforted her.
As Cheryl was being consoled, Jaden and Arcanine headed to the edge of the forest... and discovered something game-changing.
