After receiving the Heat Badge, Jaden headed to the Pokemon Centre to rest up.
Jaden: Okay, we're all rested. Now, before we go.
Jaden decided to swap Pokemon. He received Grovyle and sent over Combusken.
He was also told that Grovyle was training with his other grass-type Pokemon and learned a new move.
Jaden: Now, let's go.
They exited the Pokemon Centre.
Jaden: There's a place called Fallarbor Town which, along the way, can be useful training.
To do that, he had to go through Rusturf Tunnel and ended up on Fiery Path.
Trainer: Go Loudred!
Jaden: Go Grovyle! Use Crush Claw!
Grovyle attacked with hard and sharp claws.
Trainer: Loudred, use Screech!
Loudred released an earsplitting screech which caused Grovyle to stop and lower its defense.
Trainer: Now, Rock Smash!
Loudred attacked with a punch and landed a direct hit against Grovyle's stomach.
Jaden: Grovyle, use Mega Drain!
Grovyle drained some of Loudred's energy to heal its own.
Jaden: Now, Leaf Blade!
Grovyle attacked with a sharp leaf like a blade using the leaves on its arm.
Trainer: Use Screech!
Loudred released an earsplitting screech.
Jaden: Dodge and keep going!
Grovyle kept going and dodging the screechs.
Then it landed a hit and dealt Loudred damage.
Jaden: Use Leaf Blade again!
Grovyle attacked with a sharp leaf like a blade.
Trainer: Use Rock Smash!
Loudref attacked with a punch.
Both Pokemon clashed with neither one letting up.
Trainer: Use Fire Punch!
Jaden: Grovyle, use Leaf Blade!
Both Pokemon attacked using their remaining arms and landed hits.
Grovyle took a super-effective hit and Loudred took damage.
Jaden: Grovyle, run toward Loudred.
Grovyle used its speed to run at Loudred.
Trainer: Use Screech!
Loudred released an earsplitting screech.
Jaden: Dodge and keep going!
Grovyle kept dodging and going forward.
Jaden: Now, Leaf Blade!
Grovyle quickly slashed at the target with a leaf-like blade and landed a hit.
Trainer: Loudred no!
Jaden: Leaf Blade again!
Grovyle slashed again with a leaf-like blade and landed another hit.
Trainer: Use Fire Punch!
Loudred attacked with a fist of fire.
Jaden: Dodge and use X-Scissor!
Grovyle dodged the fire punch and attacked from behind by crossing its forearms to create an X and landed another hit.
Loudred was defeated.
