Let not blessings be measured by wealth and grandeur's gleam,
For the simple act of waking is a blessing, it may seem.
So thank the Divine, for not all who slumber rise,
You, unique in this new day, under heaven's guise.
Yet, spare no pity for those who still in slumber lie,
For to them, it's a respite from life's tumultuous cry.
In this fresh dawn, glance right, then left, with care,
Tasks of importance await, moments to share.
Let a smile adorn your face, hope in your eyes ignite,
Reach out to those in need, be their guiding light.
A shelter for the lost, a solace for the tearful,
A beacon for the darkened, strength for the fearful.
Make this day purposeful, with kindness as your creed,
A character in each tale, planting a benevolent seed.
So when they recall you, a vision of hope they'll see,
Like a new morning's promise, in hearts forever free.
